Just learning now of the sad news that Victor Miller has passed.

I had the opportunity to speak with Mr. Miller on multiple occasions. We were planning an interview for last summer’s screening of FRIDAY THE 13TH (1980), but ultimately and unfortunately it never came to pass.

Victor conceived the iconic Jason Voorhees, his mother Pamela Voorhees and her motivation in the original film, laying the groundwork for one of horror cinema’s most famous franchises.

The horror world lost another great one today. May his family find peace and solace in this difficult time.
