📣Port Alberni is in the running for something big. The City has advanced in the casting process for Home Town Takeover Canada — HGTV's first Canadian edition of the hit renovation series. If selected, our community would see homes, businesses, and public spaces transformed on national television. That's not just a makeover. That's a spotlight on everything the Alberni Valley has to offer.

Now the City is calling on all of us for one final push.

🎉Join the community rally at Harbour Quay (5440 Argyle Street) on Tuesday, June 9 from 8:00–11:00 a.m. The City of Port Alberni, Tseshaht First Nation, and Hupacasath First Nation are coming together to show the producers exactly what kind of community we are and they need your numbers to make it count.

🎈 It's a full block party: Tseshaht and Hupacasath singers and dancers, children's activities, crafts and face painting, banners to make or take, and a sea of green, white and orange. Harbour Quay will be closed to vehicle traffic from 7:00–11:00 a.m. to make room for all of it.

Bring your staff, your customers, your family. Wear your City colours. Show up and be counted.
