Community, Collaboration and Co-presence in Cinema.

The Future (of) Together is the third edition of the Future of Cinema Conference, an initiative jointly organizedby Locarno Factory and USI Università della Svizzera italiana (Official Page).

Taking place during Locarno79 (August 11 – 12), the Conference – made possible with the support of the Swiss National Science Foundation – is a platform for critical dialogue and creative exploration of the future of cinema.

Locarno’s Critics Corner is back! Host Hugo Emmerzael touched down on the Croisette to speak with esteemed film critics about the masters of cinema that we have welcomed at Locarno and premiere new work at this years’ Cannes Film Festival. We kick off with Chloe Lizotte, who checked out “Diary of a Chambermaid”, the new film by maverick Romanian director Radu Jude who shocked and delighted Locarno audiences last year with his zany vampire film Dracula.
