We’re thrilled to announce that Andrei Kutsila’s documentary Letters From The Silenced Country has been shortlisted for the 39th European Film Awards.

This is a momentous occasion and we’re incredibly proud to share this achievement. Following its world premiere at the Venice International Film Festival and its win of the Golden Globes Impact Prize for Documentary, Letters From The Silenced Country continues its European journey.

The Golden Globes Impact Prize Jury stated: “The most personal stories can also be the most universal.”

Letters From The Silenced Country tells the story of people whose voices were silenced and explores the enduring power of love dignity hope and human connection even when freedom is taken away.

European Film Academy members can now watch the film on the EFA viewing platform:

Here’s a great review for our Polish-Lithuanian-German film LETTERS FROM THE SILENCED COUNTRY by Andrei Kutsila, just shortly after 25 political prisoners were released in Belarus.

„Uncomfortable, urgent filmmaking from a director determined to put Belarus and the plight of its people back on the global agenda.“
