This year our FESTIVAL PEARLS bring together four remarkable films, each with its own voice, style and way of looking at the world. It's a perfect glimpse of the variety and ambition of Lithuanian cinema today. You'll see:
- Andrius Blaževičius’ How to Divorce During the War (Skyrybos karo metu),
- Karolis Kaupinis’ Hunger Strike Breakfast (Badautojų namelis),
- Dovilė Gasiūnaitė’s They call me Danka (DANKA)
- Aistė Žegulytė’s Holy Destructors (Dulkės, kaulai ir stebuklai).

This year’s programme is an invitation to get closer: to the stories on screen, to personal archives, to the material of film itself, and to each other. Some things are simply better seen from up close. So, COME CLOSER.

Sixteen years in, and Litauisches Kino Goes Berlin still has that same restless energy, the kind that always finds a way to surprise you. We're delighted to announce that Litauisches Kino Goes Berlin - Berlin's festival dedicated to Lithuanian cinema is back this year from 5 to 8 November.

🎬 Kviečiame teikti trumpametražius filmus programai „Female Shorts“!

Trečius metus vykstanti programa „Female Shorts“ siekia pristatyti išskirtinius lietuvių moterų kūrėjų darbus – drąsias, jautrias ir įkvepiančias istorijas, atskleidžiančias unikalius kūrybinius balsus. Kviečiame tapti šios programos dalimi!

REIKALAVIMAI:
- Festivalio programoje „Female Shorts“ gali dalyvauti visų žanrų trumpo metro filmai, sukurti Lietuvoje ar lietuvių kūrėjų visame pasaulyje.
- Maksimali trumpametražio trukmė - 20 min.
- Filmai peržiūrai priimami tik internetu (vimeo.com, youtube.com, wetransfer.com, FTP ar pan.), nuoroda turėtų galioti iki 2026 m. spalio 15 d.
- Šioje programoje gali dalyvauti filmai, sukurti po 2021 m. sausio 1 d.
- Filmo formatas festivalio rodymams: DCP (prioritetas), quicktime, mp4, mov, avi.
- Filmai festivalio metu rodomi originalo kalba su angliškais titrais.

Šis kvietimas skirtas visoms režisierėms, įskaitant cislytes ir translytes moteris bei kitus kūrėjus, kurie save identifikuoja kaip moteris. Filmų pasiūlymų laukiame iki 2026 m. liepos 31 d.
Šiemet festivalis vyks lapkričio 5–8 dienomis Berlyne.

Lithuanian cinema is back to Germany! Romas Zabarauskas’ latest film THE ACTIVIST is coming for special screenings in Munich, Berlin, and Leipzig. Two of the screenings will be accompanied by a Q&A with the filmmaker.
