A great team day before the summer break! 🌞

The Synthogra team spent a fantastic day together at the Escape Room in the historic Vridsløselille Prison. Thankfully, we all managed to escape just in time before heading off for a well-deserved summer break! 😉

It's always great to step away from our daily routines, work together in a different setting, share a few laughs, and simply enjoy each other's company. Days like these remind us that strong teamwork is built both inside and outside the workplace.

As we now take a short summer break, we'd like to thank all our customers, partners, and followers for your support and wish you a wonderful summer filled with sunshine, relaxation, and great memories.

🌞 We will be back on Monday, July 27, ready for new orders, new projects, and exciting opportunities.
Have a fantastic summer!

Every great day starts with better packaging

Tea may be simple.
Packaging is not.

When it comes to food applications, every detail matters. From barrier protection to material safety, sachets must preserve both quality and shelf life.

Traditionally, this has meant complex, multi-layer structures.
But that is changing.
With our one substrate solution, it is possible to simplify packaging without compromising on performance.

The result:
• Reliable protection for flavour and freshness
• Compliance with food safety requirements
• A structure designed with recyclability in mind

At Synthogra, we believe that even the smallest formats, like tea sachets, should meet the highest standards – for both product and packaging.

Pouch vs. can – is it time to rethink packaging?

For many products, the can has been the default choice for decades.
Reliable. Familiar. Proven.
But is it still the most efficient solution? Pouches are challenging that assumption.

By rethinking packaging, companies can unlock real advantages:
• Less weight – reducing transport costs and CO₂
• Less space – more units per pallet, better logistics
• Material efficiency – using only what is needed
• Lower EPR costs – less material means lower fees under extended producer responsibility schemes
• User convenience – easy to store, handle and dispose

And performance?
With the right structure, pouch solutions can deliver the required barrier protection to preserve quality, taste and shelf life.

The shift is not just about packaging.
It is about optimising the entire value chain – from production to post-consumer responsibility.

Looking to reduce both costs and impact? Contact Synthogra – we’re here to help.

Disclaimer: The comparison is based on packaging weight relative to product amount: 51 g packaging for 400 g tomato in can vs. 37 g packaging for 570 ml tomato in pouch. 570 ml is treated as approx. 570 g tomato for calculation purposes. Calculation: can = 12.75 g packaging per 100 g tomato; pouch = 6.49 g packaging per 100 g tomato. This equals approx. 49% less packaging material per amount of product. CO₂, transport cost, logistics and EPR fee reductions may vary depending on product type, material composition, market, transport setup and recycling system.

What you don’t see matters just as much as what you do.

At Synthogra, a lot happens behind the scenes.

Our IT system connects everything – from the moment an order is placed to delivery, invoicing and full traceability.
It might sound simple.
But it is not.
“Everything is connected,” as Peter explains.
“Improving one part of the system can affect another. It’s never just a quick fix.”
That is why development takes time, insight and a deep understanding of how every detail fits together.

Over the past two years, we have expanded our system to support the entire business.
From documentation and order handling to traceability and customer communication.

The result?
Faster response times.
Better access to information.
Greater efficiency – both internally and for our customers.

Because strong systems do not just support the business.
They strengthen every interaction.

Looking for a more efficient and transparent way to source synthetic paper? Let’s talk.

Xeikon Global Innovation Days 2026 delivered exactly what the industry needs right now: real conversations about where packaging is heading.

Nanette Thomas and Elias Lübker, together with Jelmer Bontekoning from Packaging Materials – our long-standing partner – met with our customers and partners for knowledge sharing and discussions across the value chain. The message was clear: flexible packaging is accelerating, and one-substrate solutions are increasingly seen as a way to simplify structures, improve recyclability, and reduce overall material complexity. PPWR is adding urgency and direction to many of these decisions.

A big thank you to Xeikon for hosting a strong and well-orchestrated event with sharp presentations from Xeikon CEO Walter Benz, Steven Van Belleghem, and an engaging panel discussion on AI and its impact on the future of print and packaging, which provided practical insights and encouraged meaningful dialogue on how to Print. Smarter. Together. In practice.

Grateful for the exchanges, the openness, and the shared focus on shaping the future of packaging.
