EPS Company: hiring Senior Systems, Network & Security Administrator
Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Systems, Network & Security Administrator to manage and maintain our company’s IT infrastructure end-to-end.
This role is hands-on and critical to ensuring the stability, security, and performance of all systems including networks, servers, domains, firewalls, and endpoint protection.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure on a daily basis
• Administer and monitor:
• Network systems (LAN/WAN, VPNs, routing, switching)
• Servers (Windows/Linux) and virtualization environments
• Active Directory and domain services
• Configure and manage firewalls, security policies, and VPN access
• Oversee antivirus, endpoint protection, and cybersecurity practices
• Ensure proper backup systems and disaster recovery plans are in place
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively
• Handle system upgrades, patches, and infrastructure improvements
• Manage access control, permissions, and user accounts
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers when needed
• Maintain clear documentation for systems and processes
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
OR equivalent hands-on experience supported by relevant certifications
• Relevant certifications are a strong plus:
• CCNA / CCNP
• Microsoft Certifications (Windows Server / Azure)
• Security+ / CEH
• Firewall certifications (Fortinet / Sophos / Cisco)
Experience
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in IT systems, networking, or infrastructure administration
• Proven hands-on experience managing enterprise systems and networks
• Strong experience in firewalls, cybersecurity, and endpoint protection
Technical Skills
• Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs)
• Active Directory & Identity Management
• Windows Server (Linux is a plus)
• Virtualization (VMware / Hyper-V)
• Firewalls & network security
• Backup and disaster recovery solutions
Soft Skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and handle critical incidents
• Strong ownership and accountability
• Clear communication and documentation skills
Nice to Have
• Experience with cloud environments (Azure / AWS)
• Experience in hybrid infrastructures
• Experience mentoring or guiding junior staff
