Hello, lovelies.
After much deliberation, I have decided that in the very near future I will be closing my business and website at https://danwillettaudio.com
Since starting my new job, I've intended to keep the audio work going as a regular side gig, but the truth is I haven't been getting any new enquiries for the past 3 months, and I haven't had the time or energy to pursue more clients either.
Still, I haven't completely abandoned the studio as a whole - like I've said before, it's a huge part of who I am. In addition to editing podcasts for New Game Plus and recording material for CREATURE, I'll continue to work on other fun audio projects with friends and former clients who want me to get involved. As my daughter grows up I'm also looking forward to sharing music with her, should she express an interest (so far, the signs already point towards an emphatic "yes").
Nonetheless, as an ongoing professional concern, studio work has taken a backseat far more quickly than I anticipated, and that's perfectly okay with me - I have plenty of achievements to be proud of! Perhaps one day soon I’ll be in a position to pick it back up more consistently again, but it’ll happen when the time is right. Never say never.
The works-in-progress I'm currently involved in will all be seen through to completion. If you've worked with me previously and would like to do so again, I will still be easy to contact - I’d love to do more! It’ll just be on a more occasional, casual basis whenever the stars align.
Thank you all for the many wonderful years. Hell, thank you for the horrible ones too. I love and appreciate all of you for trusting me with your creative endeavours. Hopefully I’ll see plenty of you again soon, but for now this is the final handshake click (if you know, you know).
