You can feel brilliant three weeks out and completely different by fight week.

Not because your ability disappeared.

Because the closer the fight gets, the more some fighters start questioning the preparation they’ve already completed.

Have I done enough?
Should I do more?
What if they trained harder?
What if I’m not ready?

Sometimes the answer isn’t more training.

Sometimes it’s learning to trust the work that’s already been done.

I’m not here to teach you how to punch, kick or wrestle.

That’s your coach’s job.

My job is to look at what happens mentally when the pressure goes up.

Overthinking.
Hesitation.
Fight nerves.
Losing confidence.
Getting caught with something and not resetting.
Being brilliant in training but not showing the same version of yourself in competition.

Then I use hypnosis, NLP, visualisation and mental rehearsal to help change those patterns and make the response you actually want easier to access under pressure.

You’ve already done the physical training.

My job is to help you trust it and use it when it matters.

If any of that sounds familiar, send me a message.

A testimonial is nice.

But the feedback I really care about is what happens when the pressure actually shows up.

“I didn’t hesitate.”

“I trusted myself.”

“I reset straight away.”

“I felt like myself again.”

“I just reacted.”

Because relaxation on its own isn’t the goal.

The goal is whether the work transfers into training, sparring and competition.

That’s what performance mindset work is about.

Helping you trust what you’ve trained and access it when it matters.

Some fighters are almost unrecognisable between the gym and competition.

In training they’re relaxed.
They react.
They let things go.
They trust what they’ve trained.

Then competition comes around and suddenly they’re thinking more, hesitating, second guessing and trying to force the performance.

That doesn’t mean the skill disappeared.

The fighter is still there.

A big part of performance mindset work is helping you access the same version of yourself under pressure that already shows up in training.

You’ve already built the physical skills.

The goal is being able to use them when it matters.

One mistake doesn’t ruin a fight.

What happens after the mistake can.

You get caught.
You miss something.
Your opponent does something you weren’t expecting.

Then suddenly part of your attention leaves the fight and goes inside your own head.

“Why did I do that?”
“Don’t let that happen again.”
“What if they do it again?”

Now you’re dealing with two opponents:

🥊 The one in front of you
🧠 The one inside your own head

High-level performance isn’t about everything going perfectly.

It’s about how quickly you reset, refocus and get back to your game.

That reset can be trained.

“I stopped thinking.”

That’s something I hear surprisingly often from fighters after they compete.

But when we break it down, they haven’t actually stopped thinking.

What’s usually happened is they’ve stopped getting in their own way.

Less second guessing.
Less hesitation.
Less trying to consciously control every exchange.

Instead, they start trusting:

🥊 Their training
🧠 Their instincts
⚡ Their reactions
🎯 Their visualisation and mental preparation
💪 The muscle memory they’ve built through repetition

The goal isn’t to switch your brain off.

It’s to process what’s happening, recognise the information and respond without unnecessary delay.

See it.
Trust it.
Act.

That’s where performance starts to feel more automatic.

And that’s often where fighters describe getting closer to flow.

🥊 You don’t stop overthinking by telling yourself to stop thinking.

That usually just gives your mind one more thing to think about.

The problem starts when you consciously interfere with skills you’ve already trained hundreds or thousands of times.

You start checking yourself.

Second guessing.

Trying to control every movement.

And that’s when timing, instinct and flow can disappear.

The goal isn’t to switch your brain off.

It’s to train your mind so pressure triggers focus, trust and automatic response instead of hesitation.

Because when it matters, you don’t want to be thinking your way through every exchange.

You want your training to take over. 🧠🥊⚡

If overthinking is getting in the way of your performance, message me “FOCUS”.

🥊 WHY DO SOME FIGHTERS LOOK BRILLIANT IN TRAINING… THEN DIFFERENT WHEN IT REALLY MATTERS?

Usually it isn’t because their technique suddenly disappeared.

It’s because pressure changes what they focus on.

Instead of reacting, they start thinking.

Instead of trusting their training, they start checking themselves.

Instead of committing, they hesitate.

And once that happens, the fighter they are in the gym can get buried underneath conscious interference.

That’s why simply telling yourself to “be confident” often isn’t enough.

You need to change what your mind does under pressure.

That’s where the real performance work begins. 🧠🥊⚡

If this sounds familiar, DM me “PERFORM” and we can have a chat.

🥊 You know you’re better than what you’re showing.

In training, sparring or competition, you can have the fitness, technique and experience — yet something changes when it’s time to perform.

You hesitate.
You overthink.
You hold back.
You don’t let your shots go.

Then afterwards comes the frustration because you know what you’re capable of.

Sometimes the answer isn’t more motivation, more technique or trying harder.

It’s identifying what’s getting in the way and changing the mental response that’s stopping you from accessing the fighter that’s already there.

That’s the work I do.

Helping fighters remove the mental blocks, trust their training and perform with confidence, instinct and flow. 🧠⚡🥊

If this sounds familiar, drop me a message with the word FLOW.

🥊 ONE OF THE BIGGEST MISTAKES FIGHTERS MAKE BEFORE A FIGHT…

Watching their opponent over and over again.

Studying footage can obviously have value.

But there’s a difference between studying an opponent and repeatedly programming your mind with everything they can do to you.

Their power.
Their speed.
Their knockouts.
Their best moments.

And without realising it, some fighters begin mentally rehearsing their opponent winning.

Your opponent shouldn’t be living rent-free in your head throughout fight camp.

Let your coaches analyse what needs analysing.

Then spend your mental preparation rehearsing YOU.

Your timing.
Your reactions.
Your weapons.
Your composure.
Your game plan.
Your hand being raised.

Your unconscious mind learns through repetition and imagination.

👉 Be careful what you repeatedly show it.

If you’re preparing for a fight and want the mental side of your camp as prepared as the physical side, DM me “FIGHT” and we’ll have a chat. 🧠🥊⚡
