Come along to the ARC Cinema for a special screening of The Hollow Light, a short film crafted over 5 months by this year's Blackpool BFI Film Academy participants.

SYNOPSIS
Claire is confined to a crumbling shell of a home with a stranger. In a house marked with faded slogans - remnants of hope long since soured - the pair rely on each other for support, safety and survival. Will their efforts be in vain?

Join us on Thursday 26 March to celebrate the work of this year’s Film Academy group, with an exclusive screening of their short film, followed by a Q&A session with the filmmakers themselves!

We’ve loved working with 10 brilliant young creatives; learning the filmmaking process and exploring routes into a career in the film industry.

We’re heading to in Preston for a funny, fabulous and insightful cinema talk followed by a screening of Pedro Almodóvar’s Strange Way of Life (2023).
