We’re looking for a Film Festival Coordinator to join our team and help bring exciting film experiences to audiences across Blackpool.

This is a great opportunity for someone organised and passionate about film, who enjoys working with people and making events happen.
You’ll play an important role in supporting festival planning, delivery and our year-round activity.

Aunty Social is looking for a Festival Coordinator to support the work of Blackpool Film Festival. This role is an entry-level position for a Fylde Coast-based aspiring film exhibition/arts administration professional.

⭐2 days per week
⭐£14.00 per hour, PAYE
⭐23 September 2026 to 21 April 2027.

Producers Make Stuff Happen - Applications are now OPEN!

We’re looking for 5 producers to take part in our Creative Producer Development Programme in 2026/7.
Over the course of 7 months, you will create and deliver your own event as part of Blackpool Film Festival 2027.

This programme has been designed for early-mid career independent producers, based in Blackpool and the Fylde Coast who are committed and passionate about producing high-quality events – from exhibitions and festivals to gigs, film and community events.

⭐️ Feel confident and equipped to produce exciting and innovative work
⭐️ Build a sustainable producing career
⭐️ Develop your practical skills, creative thinking and sector knowledge
⭐️ Reflect upon your experience and think about next steps of your career

You will receive:
* A £1500 training bursary (paid in instalments) to help with expenses and support your time taking part in the programme
* An event budget
* Access to hot-desking space in Blackpool town centre
* 9 training sessions delivered by Aunty Social /Blackpool Film Festival
* 9 training sessions delivered by industry professionals
* Informal group catch-ups
* Ongoing mentoring and support and careers advice
