Arrow Presents GRINDFEST '26 – gets your Sunday Morning (September 20) off to a roaring start with SILVER BULLET (1985)

"It looked like Bigfoot had used it for a toothpick!"

A small Maine town is gripped by fear as a series of brutal murders sparks rumours of something far more sinister than a human killer. When Marty (Corey Haim) becomes convinced a werewolf is stalking the streets, he sets out to expose the truth before the next full moon.

Based on Stephen King's acclaimed novella Cycle of the Werewolf and licensed through Arrow Video, Silver Bullet (1985) roars back to life in a rare original 35mm screening, blending suspense, heart, and unforgettable creature-feature thrills.

The DITG team are thrilled to present this cult horror classic from an original 35mm print at Arrow Presents GRINDFEST 2026!

Dirt In the Gate Movies // Arrow Video Presents: GRINDFEST – TENEBRAE (1982) – [35mm]
1983 | 100m | ITALY | (18) | 1.85:1 | Mono

“Let me ask you something? If someone is killed with a Smith & Wesson revolver… Do you go and interview the president of Smith & Wesson?”

Following his surreal supernatural odysseys Suspiria and Inferno, director Dario Argento returned to the giallo roots that made him famous with this 1982 masterpiece of style and suspense. The film stars Anthony Franciosa as Peter Neal, an American mystery novelist who arrives in Rome to promote his latest bestseller, Tenebrae, only to find himself stalked by a razor-wielding serial killer who mirrors the gruesome murders in his book. Abandoning the technicolour phantasmagoria of his previous work for a cold, clinical, and ultra-modern aesthetic, Argento—working with cinematographer Luciano Tovoli—uses Rome’s brutalist architecture as a sterile backdrop for some of the most elaborate and technical sequences of his career, including a legendary, gravity-defying crane shot.

This 35mm screening offers a rare chance to experience the film’s blindingly bright visuals and pulse-pounding score by Goblin (Simonetti-Morante-Pignatelli) in its original format, showcasing why Tenebrae remains a definitive, metafictional peak of Italian horror and DITG are delighted to bring it to GRINDFEST.

3D the way it was meant to be seen... on 35mm film!

Before digital 3D, there was Over/Under 3D—a remarkable process that places the left and right eye images onto a single strip of 35mm film. With specialist projection equipment and polarised lenses, it creates an authentic stereoscopic experience that very few cinemas in the world can still present today.

That's where DITGM comes in. For the fifth consecutive year, we're bringing genuine 35mm 3D back to the big screen at Arrow Video Presents Grindfest '26, preserving a cinematic experience that has become incredibly rare utilising modern chromatic filtered lenses and matching glasses by Panavision.

This year's 3D presentation is Starchaser: The Legend of Orin (1985)—the groundbreaking animated sci-fi adventure originally released in over/under 35mm 3D. Nearly 40 years later, it's still one of the few animated features ever created in this format, making this screening a truly special event for film lovers and projection enthusiasts alike.

Don't miss your chance to experience cinema history exactly as audiences did in 1985.

They've been a huge part of what we've been able to share with audiences, and we're always excited to collaborate with them.

That makes it even more exciting to have Arrow Video as the headline sponsor of Grindfest 2026.

We can't wait to share more soon. Grindfest 2026 is going to be something special.
