🚨 On 999 Day, we would like to thank all emergency service workers for the vital role they play in keeping our communities safe.

We also want to raise awareness of 999 BSL, a service that enables Deaf BSL users to contact emergency services through a qualified BSL interpreter.

Accessibility can save lives. Thank you to everyone working within our emergency services and helping to make support available for all.

Become a Voice Advocate!

We’re running an information session for anyone living with a long‑term health condition or disability who wants to help improve services across Bradford District.

📅 Thursday 10th September
⏰ 10:30am–12:30pm
📍 The Mayfield Centre, Broadway Avenue, BD5 9NP

As a Voice Advocate, you can:
• Speak up about issues that matter to disabled people
• Help organisations understand real experiences
• Influence positive change in services and communities
• Represent voices that are often not heard

Our Wednesday group have been practising animation ahead of their co‑production project — and they’re absolutely smashing it! 🎬✨
Lots of creativity, teamwork, and plenty of “wait… how did you make it move like that?” moments.
We love seeing everyone build new skills and get ready for the big project ahead. 💛

Did you know… hot curries can actually cool you down? 🌶️🔥➡️😌 Our receptionist taught me this today! The spice makes your body think it’s overheating, so you start to sweat — and when that sweat evaporates, it cools you down. Science is wild sometimes.

We’d love you to meet Tom 👋

This year, Tom is taking on an incredible (and slightly wild!) challenge – completing a medal a month 🏅

That means everything from endurance events to ultra-marathons… pushing himself further every single month, all to raise money for us 💪

At the heart of everything we do is co‑production – working alongside people with lived experience to create clear, accessible information that actually works for the people who need it.
