Filmdirecting4women filmdirecting4women was created to make a real and positive contribution to the worldwide movement which demands that 50% of all films are directed by women.

Ruth Torjussen is the founder of filmdirecting4women. She is a qualified teacher and the writer/director of seven shorts and one feature film. Ruth has also worked extensively on other projects in roles ranging from actor, producer and script editor to 1st AD and production manager. Ruth graduated from Bournemouth University in 2000 with a degree in Scriptwriting for Film and TV and has since atte

nded numerous other workshops and courses in directing and producing. She has several projects in development.
