History
Bluescreen have also been involved in organising specific film type events and have appeared at many Festivals, screening films originally shown at Bluescreen, including the International Film Festival Rotterdam in 2007, Encounters Short Film Festival 2011 and 2012. The Event
We are a 90 minutes total screening duration event and with just one film shown per filmmaker. This is to allow all films to be screened at a reasonable hour and also give the opportunity to the audience to stay and watch them to the end too. SO WHAT WE ARE BASICALLY SAYING IS, IF YOU GOT A FILM, SEND IT TO US! Films can be up to 20mins long and must in MP4 format
We are a NO censorship Film night
To get the best screening experience at Bluescreen, we suggest your film should be formatted in H264 (.mp4) video compression, with AAC compression for audio. And limit the data rate to 15,000 kbits/sec and films should be no larger than 1 GB per file. We screen anything from mini dramas to skate films to animation, music promos, horrror, arthouse, sci-fi and beyond! We have DJ's - Bluescreen Hi-Fi - in the bar all night. See you at the Bluescreen!
