Don't forget that we're partnering with Cardiff Animation Festival to bring you two great anime films to Chapter this Sunday afternoon, April 26th.
Our market stalls will be there as usual too.

♻️Help Us Be Sustainable and raise money

We accept donations of pre-loved DVDs and manga and other Japan/Anime/Manga related goods for our stalls and Manga Kissa (Manga Café). Let's work together to promote their reuse!

We also partner with Recycle4Charity to collect your used ink cartridges at our events. This helps to raise money for our festival to fund our future events. Please bring these if you have any.

Set up in 1971, we're an international centre for contemporary arts and culture.

Kotatsu kicks off its 15th anniversary year by partnering up with Cardiff Animation Festival🌸

We will be at Chapter on 26th April with two of the latest anime films: 100 Meters and The Last Blossom

These perfectly paired films reflect on past and future; passions and regrets. Don't miss your chance to see these hidden gems on the big screen.

Feel like you're missing out on the latest Japanese films? Worry not, because the The Japan Foundation, London's Touring Film Programme returns to Chapter in February.

Showcasing nine films in Cardiff, there's something for everyone to enjoy. This year's theme is "Knowing Me, Knowing You: The True Self in Japanese Cinema," with films exploring humanity and identity.
