I had an absolutely fantastic time at last weekend’s Weird Worcester! It was, without a doubt, the best Cult Movie Con I've attended. Being in a wheelchair, I truly appreciated how helpful everyone was, and their disabled facilities were excellent. A huge thank you to Graeme and Tom for organizing such a wonderful event and being outstanding hosts. All the staff were brilliant, and I especially want to give a shoutout to the two big friendly guys at the autograph table—they are always good crack!
I can’t wait for next year and look forward to seeing who the guests will be. Here’s what I got signed, mostly VHS covers:
Camille Keaton on I Spit On Your Grave, Al Cliver, Fabio Frizzi, Ian McCulloch, and Ottaviano Dell’Acqua on my Zombie Flesh Eaters cover, Luigi Cozzi and Ian McCulloch on Contamination, I found a Wez figure from Mad Max 2 and got Vernon Wells to sign it, Zora Kerova signed my Cannibal Ferox and New York Ripper covers, along with a picture of the iconic hooks-through-the-b***s scene, The lovely Caroline Munro signed my Maniac and Star Crash covers, while Luigi Cozzi also signed Star Crash, Patrick Kilpatrick signed the Class of 1999 cover, and he was a true gentleman, Lastly, composer Simon Boswell signed Demons 2 and shared a funny story about getting Morrissey’s approval for using The Smiths Panic in the film. I had an absolute blast and met so many amazing people—too many to mention! It was an exceptional time filled with fantastic company. Thanks to everyone who helped make it a memorable weekend; you’re all legends!

What an incredible weekend I had at Weird Worcester 2 Electric Boogaloo, I’m What an incredible weekend I had at Weird Worcester 2 Electric Boogaloo, I’m suffering now as I’m in bloody Agony my whole body is aching but it was worth it as I had two days of meeting some of my favourite actors from the VHS and Nasties era, I also met up with great mates from the cult film groups, I have to say Graeme Lloyd & Tom Lee Rutter absolutely Knocked it out the park again what a fantastic convention with wonderful guests and I will be going again next year. Thanks for all the effort and putting on a fantastic Convention. So I did manage to get a few Selfies on the Sunday with the following Cult Movie Legends, in order of picture first up is the Crew of Zombie Flesh Eaters all of whom are mentioned below except for Ottaviano Dell'Acqua then it’s Fabio Frizzi Italian composer on Zombie Flesh Eaters,The Beyond, City of the Living Dead and more, Al Cliver Next Italian Actor from Zombie Flesh Eaters,The Beyond, Devil Hunter plus more, then its English Actor and Fan of the Podcast Ian McCulloch from Zombie Flesh Eaters, Contamination, Zombie Holocaust and more, next up is my favourite Artist Graham Humphreys the man behind the uk poster and vhs art for the original Evil Dead, A Nightmare on Elm St and so many more. The next picture is of handsome bastard and all round nice bloke author and interviewer Eugenio Ercolani, we then have top bloke & We Belong Dead Editor Darrell Buxton and finally an very nice chap Darren Ward Low Fi British Director of A Day of Violence, Sudden Fury, Beyond Fury and more.

What a first day at Weird Worcester, Graeme and Tom have out done last year, still another day to go, I got most of my the Autographs, I need just need to get Ian McCulloch’s signature tomorrow, it’s been superb and I met loads of my friends from the groups again and had a good crack with everyone I met, it was lovely to see Yannie and Allan Bryce again as they are lovely people. I also managed to line up 4 more Cult Movie Legends for the Podcast, Patrick Kilpatrick, Simon Boswell, Ian McCulloch and Fabio Frizzi. It was also lovely to see Andy Allard who’s in the same Hotel as me, also Bumped into Steve Noble and John Kirk for a natter and we will be having a chat on their Podcast soon which will be fun, no Selfies with the stars this time though as they were all charging for them. All in all it’s been a cracking day and I’m looking forward tomorrow.
