Crystalmount has a dedicated manager who you can call on for help during normal working hours Monday - Friday. Coupled with a 24-hour personal emergency alarm service, this means that support is available at any time - day or night. You'll get a self-contained unfurnished flat with a lounge, kitchen, bedroom and private bathroom and/or shower. There's a communal lounge for social activities, and family and friends can even stay on site in our guest bedroom. And, because we are regularly inspected by the Care Inspectorate, you can expect the highest standard of quality and support. The manager is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the building. They also offer advice and guidance on the facilities within the development and on services in the wider community. They are there to help you get any support or services you may need so you can continue to live independently. Regular activities in our lounge include Monday mornings - Keep Fit class in the Lounge Monday afternoons - Bingo in the Lounge Monday Evenings - Midlothian Volunteer Service provide a range of different activities in our Lounge Second Tuesday of the month - Church service Tuesday Afternoon Poetry Group Wednesday Midday - Lunch Club Wednesday Afternoon - Computer Club, in our lounge Wednesday Nights - Bingo in the Lounge Wednesday Afternoons - Bus to tesco Thursday Afternoon - Coffee afternoon Thursday Evenings - Film/Movie Night Friday - Mobile library Friday Mornings Nitten & Natter Group Friday Afternoon - New computer class for beginners We even have a MENs SHEd located in our grounds for use by the residents.
