👣 🎬 2026 will host a free showcase of short films on borders, exile, and the human cost of crossing, which will be followed by a panel discussion between Gaelle Gormley of North West Migrants Forum and Natalia Galgos of Pixida on the issues and themes raised in the films 🎤

✊ 'Crossings' is a campaign that aims to raise awareness on the violence that takes place at our borders and advocates for international safe passages, with this particular event aiming to raise awareness within the context of Derry~Londonderry.

'Lady' is the feature debut from writer/director Samuel Abraham that follows a lonely, narcissistic aristocrat ('Fleabag's' Sian Clifford) who dupes a struggling, opportunistic director into filming her every move. But her obsession with the spotlight takes a surreal turn when she begins to lose her sense of self.

'Midwinter Break' stars Lesley Manville and Ciarán Hinds as a long-married couple from Belfast — now living in Glasgow — that take a life-changing trip to Amsterdam, causing them both to reflect on their life together and the mysterious tragedy that forced them to leave Belfast years before.

Adapted from BAFTA-nominated writer Bernard MacLaverty’s acclaimed novel, the film creates an arrangement of internal meditation, comfortable chatter, shared moments, and ineffable loneliness.
