For film fanatics and occasional viewers alike, our community cinema is here for all dwellers of Draycott, Rodney Stoke and the surrounding hamlets.

Draycott Community Cinema has been brought together by a few locals who share a love for cinema. This small group of individuals have managed to create an inclusive and welcoming space for film enthusiasts in the community and beyond. By pooling their resources and passion, they look to establish a cinema that not only showcases a diverse range of films but also fosters a sense of belonging among

its members. Unlike most other community cinemas, it opens its' doors to all ages and welcomes suggestions for well loved films, for old, young and family events. With some very special events planned too, this new venture is already proven its a lovely and relaxed social event. The committee is always looking for new members and of course hugely value the support from our volunteers at every event. What a lovely evening last night at Shipham Community Cinema. Thanks to all the team there and The Ballad of Wallis Island is an absolute treat. Fingers crossed it gets some well deserved recognition during the awards season.

A huge thank you to Lori & Mick of The Strawberry Special Pub and all the participants of the summer skittles league. A record number of teams with a record sum raised for the community, £800 of which has come to our cinema. This wonderful donation is gratefully received - thank you so much!
