A very warm welcome to everybody joining the CineWyre family from our big brother up in Lytham this weekend - we're the younger sibling of the Lancashire Film Network.

Every March, our festival brings a curated mix of documentary shorts and features, family friendly adventures, late night horror & thriller, plus, for 2027 we enter the world of science fiction, with a showcase of standout international shorts too.

Add to this the trademark sessions and the beautiful home of of our festival - the iconic , and you get CineWyre: a festival that truly takes you to the heart of the story.

Tickets for CineWyre go on sale shortly, so sign up on the Marine Hall's website to be the first to know exactly when you can secure your seat.

Supporting local filmmakers is a key aspect of everything we do at CineWyre - so we were delighted to sample Blackpool and the Fylde College's world class media facilities last week.

There is so much untapped potential across the region, and our festival is a perfect way to launch into the industry. We'll have more exciting news to share in due course!

It's going to be a session to remember, just as it was at our sister event in Fleetwood.

By popular demand, the Fylde Coast's own Ryan Green - a stunt performer who has worked on 1917, The Marvels, Star Wars: Andor and many other big productions - will deliver his Life of a Stunt Performer session at this year's LYIFF. It was one of *the* moments of CineWyre Film Festival back in February, and we are over the moon to bring this eye-opening session to Lytham International.
