We are looking for a freelancer/partner organisation to support our UK-wide work with Black and Global Majority audiences.

Evidence shows that Black and Global Majority audiences remain under‑represented across UK independent exhibition. This new strand of our work aims to identify practical barriers and actionable opportunities for welcoming Black and Global Majority audiences to UK-wide film screenings and events.

Wicked things are coming... Cinetopia x Leith Kino present Fiends in the Furrows, a new folk horror film festival in Leith!

Four days of films, markets, talks, events, pop-up food and drink, and fiendish fun πŸͺΎπŸ

Taking place at indoor and outdoor venues across Leith, and collaborating with a host of local partners, small businesses and creatives, pre-sale tickets for headlining films are now on sale

This May - October, Rip It Up celebrates youth rebellion, culture and expression on screen in the UK. Think titles like TRAINSPOTTING (1996), BEATS (2019), PRIDE (2014) and BEND IT LIKE BECKHAM (2002).

Take part by booking one of the Menu titles, developing a Bespoke programme, or create a Cross-Fan touring season ⬇️

We are delighted to announce that our next Spotlight area for 2026-29 will be Fife and Clackmannanshire. Delivered in partnership with OnFife, the Spotlight Coordinator will be based at Adam Smith Theatre.

This is a really exciting opportunity for someone who is knowledgeable about film events and enthusiastic about supporting film exhibitors. Deadline: 30 March.

The Film Exhibition Fund supports our members to grow their audiences and develop new, and exciting, screening programmes. Support can cover programming, marketing, audience development, accessibility and other screening costs.
