Messy box, physically organised, scanned, colour and light corrected post scan and digitally archived and organised. These photographs are from around 2007. Strange how that doesn’t ’feel’ that long ago. (19 years!). Most of the photos are from a US Florida holiday of our customer. And one can get five films digitised onto a CD 🙄 according to the advert on the envelope sleeve. Moments in time, photograph wise and envelope wise.

Today, Henley Scan wise, was lovely. Three new projects, small and medium size. Just very happy customers digitising for someone special. First one Cine films for an elderly father, second one camcorder tapes for a younger sister for her birthday and our last customer wanted to consolidate several memory cards onto one stick and was just happy they were now safe with us, they are so easy to lose or misplace. Thankyou. We will get going with those tomorrow. I’m also creating a very special photo book project currently. I will share soon. Have a good evening everyone.

The old cine films will always be my favourite. The oldest footage in this ’image’ is over 120 years old. The youngest - about 55 years. The Cine films we convert comes mainly in 8mm, very few with audio, but the sound films pop up periodically, we see 16mm and 9.5mm films too. Many films were converted onto VHS or DVD since the 1990s and we convert them to .mp4 normally and deliver on a USB memorystick. Holidays, days out to the sea side, first day of school, family moments and so much more captured and many people no longer with us. Precious and priceless. Memories and moments. Doesn’t time fly. We’ve been sponsoring the henley herald cartoon now for nearly 15 months. We love seeing our logo on it, but more to the point, we love seeing the cartoon every week again. Always wonder which Henley news of the week Steve Allender will be creative and ‘cheeky’ about. Part of supporting local and being part of the community.
