Summer in King’s Lynn is anything but quiet. The town comes alive with a packed calendar of events – from vibrant markets to live music, the well-loved Festival Too, open air film nights and family-friendly days out, there’s something happening every week from May to September. 🎶✨🎬

Looking for something to do this Saturday? Head to the Merchants Market! 🛍️✨

Discover hand-knitted clothing, treats for your furry friends, brownies & blondies, sausage rolls, handcrafted spirits & beer, organic dog treats, local honey, homegrown plants, wax melts, artwork and jewellery, there’s so much to explore! 🍯🧶🪴

Plus, you can grab yourself a coffee or matcha from First Sip, a fresh slice of pizza from the Pizza Slice Guy, or a delicious ice cream from Reesey's - the perfect treats to keep you fuelled whilst you browse the market! 🍕☕🍦

From crafts and shopping to live music, family fun and entertainment, there's something for everyone to enjoy this month.

The hugely popular Festival Too King's Lynn returns from 27 June, Europe's biggest free festival 🎶, and the Hanseatic Festival of Watersports is also back at the quayside, featuring boats reaching speeds up to 100mph, live music, quayside viewing and a firework display on the Saturday. 🚤

Families can enjoy plenty of fun at The Walks too, with the Lions Family Fun Day and the Manifest Summer Festival offering activities and entertainment for all ages.

This month’s King’s Lynn Gem is Islington Books, a unique book shop located down Tower Street. 📚

They specialise in books on Militaria and local history, and have just sold over 2,000 books! You’ll find them at 11 Tower Street, Tuesday - Saturday from 10am - 4pm. 📍

Open-air Film Nights return this summer at the Tuesday Market Place! 🎬✨ 3 evenings of film, food, and feel-good vibes! 🤩

Here’s what’s on… 👇

17 July: Back to The Future (1985) ⚡️
7 August: Mean Girls (2004) 🩷
4 September: Jumanji (1995) 🎲

Street food will begin at 5pm, followed by the film showing at 7pm. 🍕🎬 Please note seating is limited so feel free to bring your own chairs.

(We had planned to show Top Gun again after our technical difficulty last year, however we couldn’t get the film licence due to it being the films 40th anniversary – save this one for next year!)

The King’s Lynn Hanse Festival returns on Sunday 24th May – a celebration of King’s Lynn’s rich Hanseatic heritage, bringing the town together for a day of history, culture, entertainment and community spirit.
