Legend Of A Fighter

The story of "Fok Yun Gap" also known as "Hou Yuan Chia" one of China's greatest real-life martial artists (on which films like Bruce Lee’s Fist of Fury, Jet Li’s Fist of Legend are fictionally based on).

Frail since childhood, Fok is excluded from learning the famous family martial arts style by his very strict father, often bullied; he is determined to learn the family’s martial arts style even if that means spying on his secretive father.

A Japanese teacher is hired to educate Fok, over many years his teacher becomes a surrogate father secretly teaching him martial arts but unbeknown to the pupil the teacher has a highly secret hidden agenda that will one day severely test their bond, family ties and patriotic national loyalty.

A highly rated Kung fu classic with superb emotional performances by fan favourite Bryan Leung & Yasuaki Kurate that proudly champions Chinese martial arts and delves patriotically into the notion that the Chinese were the weak men of Asia.

Cast: Kar-Yan Leung, Yasuaki Kurata, Yat Chor Yuen, Phillip Ko, Hak-on Fung.

Director: Yuen Woo Ping
