My attention is drawn to amazing, ethnically created and hand-made mats, buscets, wall clocks and many others made of banana fibers in
Uganda. Mawejje Creations and Eco Crafts Ug manufactures and sells mats, boards, wall clocks, pen holders, jewelry, banana bags and more, made of recycled banana waste.
Many young people have been locked in their homes, battling depression over Covid-19. In Ugadanda, Mawejje helps young people by opening their minds, training and employing them at
Mawejje workshop. All items are made of banana fibers obtained from the waste of banana trees. In addition, each product is hand-made and painted, which additionally protects our planet from the carbon footprint.

I am absolutely delighted with the new American style interior of the local American Dinner Alistairs at Crystal Palace! A well-designed space where photos of stars such as Merlin Monroe or Elvis Presley fill the walls around you, and stylish license plates from different US states create a unique atmosphere! The black and white metro-style tile bar gives it a modern feel.
I heartily recommend this charming place to anyone looking for real, fresh, delicious food served in a wonderful atmospheric place and provided by extremely kind owners!

HOW TO CONVERT YOUR WINDOWS INTO A BIRD-SAFE AND HEAT-BLOCKING AREA?
With these simple tips, you can keep your home cool when it's hot, prevent birds from hitting your windows, and save on energy bills, which means reduce your footprint!😊
Walk around the house and find windows that reflect the sky or greenery at certain times of the day, or those that provide a clear view of an interior that looks like a pleasant environment, such as potted plants or a water source, then use some of the following options👇
1. Move indoor plants away from windows. Birds may perceive them as shelters and try to perch on them.
2. Close curtains and blinds if possible to break the illusion of a bright transition or reflected environment while keeping the sun's heat away from rooms
3. Bring back outdoor screens-they create a visible barrier to birds approaching windows, reduce reflections and provide a softer landing in the event of a collision. They are also easy to install and there is a whole range of outdoor screens on the market that block sunlight from entering your home.
4. Use an UV liquid-it is an easy-to-apply liquid that can be applied to the outside of the glass and dries transparently, leaving traces that birds can see. Use together with stickers for the best coverage and protection from bird strikes.
5. Glass art for windows-these patterned films stick to any smooth surface, reduce glare and UV radiation, and reduce reflections and the illusion of a transparent transition. Be sure to choose a pattern that provides adequate coverage.

This beautiful vintage clock installed at Balham tube station always attracts my attention. New York - based Self Winding Clock Company (SWCC) has been producing these clocks since 1886, and their installation on the London Underground was implemented in 1905. The patented clock mechanism automatically winds the main spring every hour using a small electric motor. The engine is powered by batteries that last about a year.

This lovely wooden plant hanger I have noticed in my client's kitchen and it amazed me with its simplicity and beauty. A vertical pot holder is a great idea to keep your herbs fresh and always have them at hand when you need to add a touch of mint or coriander to your dish. DIY wall holders are cheap, easy to make and extremely durable because they are made of pallets or wooden crates. It's an eco-friendly way to display your potted flowers and fill your free space with colours and scents without weighing down your budget.

Today's funeral of Prince Philip took place in the magnificent St.George's Chapel, with an amazing history and architecture. The chapel is located in Windsor Castle, which is the largest and oldest still inhabited castle in the world. The sanctuary is characterized by late Gothic architecture and its vertical style manifested in visible horizontal lines, window openings divided into narrow vertical planes and in a grid of vaulted ribs creating a complex, lacy pattern. The fan vaults in the nave and the chancel as well as the stained glass windows are impressive. Founded by King Edward III in the 14th century, it cost $ 236 million and took over 50 years to build and expand.
St. George Chapel is stunningly beautiful and its gothic architecture is breathtaking with every detail.

Get rid of carpets through which you regularly inhale toxins. Before you decide on a greener purchase, use one of the options to dispose your old rug wisely:

• Check with the shop you bought the carpet from – they may take back your old carpet

• Contact your local council to see if they offer a recycling service

• Give your carpet away via Freecycle or a similar local group

• Check if there is reuse organisation in your area that takes used carpet

• Contact your local animal rescue shelter – carpet pieces make good mats and help keep animals warm
