ORDERS ARE OFFICIALLY OPEN! 🎄☃️ 18th December Delivery 🚙 Delivery available to selected East, North AND SOUTH London postcodes.

We will be back on the roads delivering not one BUT two options for our festive offering.

We've been graciously gifted some boxes of the fabulous Christmas Blend so the first 8 orders will get the chance to sip their Christmas away with this citrus and spiced infused tea 🍊 BONUS!!

For those of you who literally want it all, we've got our classic box which comes complete with a little mince pie and gingerbread person for £35pp

And as a special for this year we've created our brand new ploughmans box which is really going to pack a savoury punch with all that cheesy goodness for £30pp

With a heavy heart, this will be the last What's The Tea Delivery for the foreseeable future. Ellie and I are both starting truly exciting new jobs that will require all of our attention! What better way to say goodbye then with a belter of a box and getting to wish all of our lovely customers a Merry Christmas. We have LOVED every minute of this bloody crazy journey. It gave us so much joy in a time of darkness and we can't thank you all enough for your love and support!

CAKE BOX DELIVERY TONIGHT 🎀💙

Yesterday we took part in our first IRL market as What's The Tea so we had no idea how much to bake! We had an absolutely amazing day but have a few gorgeous cake slices and Scones left over and thought we'd open up delivery of them tonight for anyone that couldn't make it to Crystal Palace yesterday 🥰

🍰 £5 per box, including delivery to any NORTH London address
🍰 Includes a cake slice (parsnip, apple and burnt butter) 3x Citrus scones, Clotted cream and Jam
🍰 Delivery will be around 6pm this evening, so the perfect treat for you when you get home from work

THE FESTIVE PLOUGHMANS BOX 🎄

A completely new product we are releasing this year and preorders will launch exclusively tomorrow at !

We know that Afternoon Tea isn't everyone's cup of tea, so Daisy had the cracking idea to take our Christmas menu and turn it into a ploughman's box! It's a jam packed box of goodies, the perfect gift for someone who loves delicious treats but doesn't fancy the whole afternoon tea set up 💙

We will be making everything from crackers to sausage rolls to piccalilli and it will all come wrapped in our signature ribbon to be enjoyed by you or your loved one 🎀

We will only be delivering this on the 18th December, and general preorders will be open next Sunday 14th, so if you can't make it to tomorrow's market keep your eyes peeled on our stories for all the details 🧀🥧🫓

It's time for us to unveil our Christmas menu 🎅

This is definitely the most organised we have ever been, so I think that just shows you how excited we are for this year's festive boxes

🎄 They will be £35 per person which includes delivery on the 18th December and a Mince Pie and Gingerbread Person each 🎄

We are going to be opening up preorders EXCLUSIVELY at this Sunday! So if you want to guaranntee your space and get your hands on a What's The Tea Christmas box then get yourself a free ticket via the link in our bio 🎟 The market itself is going to be such a great atmosphere, it's step free, buggy friendly, dog friendly and basically the perfect Sunday activity (including eating alll the delicious cake)!

General preorders will open a week later, on the 14th November (if we don't sell out on Sunday! 😉) and this year we are just doing the one delivery, so we hope we can deliver to as many of you as physically possible 💙

We've taken all the classic crimbo flavours, thrown in some Daisy and Ellie twists and we think its probably our best themed menu yet 🥰 Let us know what you think and if you're coming to the market! 👋👋

Hope you have all had the best halloween eating all the goodies, carving the pumpkins and watching scary movies 👻

We spent Halloween delivering boxes FULL of treats to so many of you and I'm just so happy with how everything turned out 🥰 A lot of hard work went on behind the scenes (and a few "why do I do this" moments) but once everything's packed up and I know you're all going to be enjoying them, the long nights and early mornings are definitely worth it. It's the best feeling 🥰

Hiya 💙

There's a lot of new faces around here so we thought we'd just pop on to tell you a little more about us and What's The Tea.

We are Daisy and Ellie, two professional pastry chefs that have been best friends for years, working alongside eachother in various kitchens/business ventures. We launched What's The Tea in the first lockdown as we'd found ourselves furloughed and actually had the time to do something we ALWAYS said we wanted to do. It's amazing to see how much the business has grown since then😇

We create seasonal, monthly afternoon tea menus that we deliver to your door to be enjoyed in the comfort of you own home. We are driven by our love for local, seasonal produce and we literally love nothing more than deciding which goodies to create every month! 🍒🥦🍅

We both LOVE food, but don't like things touching on our plates (spag and bol on seperate sides pls) and we are both obsessed with cold pepsi max from a can ! 😛

Really we just cannot thank each of you enough for choosing to support our business and we can't wait to show you more of what we do 💕 let us know you're weird food facts in the comments and we would love to chat 💕

We're both sat planning our market offering tonight and I'm just so excited about getting it all set up 😍😍

We did a market together a few years ago, but this wil be our first time serving you as the What's The Tea duo we now are 👩‍🍳👩‍🍳

We're looking to bring you a really good range of all of our skills, including smashing out some killer savoury treats 🤗 This was our beetroot and white bean foccacia from our baby shower last month and it was an absolute winner! More of this? We think so!

We've been obsessed with since Lockdown v.1 and it's definitely going to be such a great experience shopping from all these small brands IRL. It may be based in South London but it's a completely free event and we would absolutely lovvee to see some of you North and East Londoners there !

Just a couple of entrepreneurs rocking our jumpers 😘 This snap was taken after a looot of hard preparing a gorgeous baby shower afternoon tea (hence the bags under our eyes🤭)

Due to Daisy's work commitments, we will not be baking together this month.. but we will be coming to a real life market near you in November 😍

It will be a completely new venture for What's The Tea and were super excited to give it a go and hopefully meet loads of you in real life! The market itself is such an amazing curation of small businesses from London and we feel super privileged to have been asked 🎀

Like all of you, we are so conscious about our footprint on the planet and all the things we need to do help save Mother 🌏

We are always striving to make our business as environmentally friendly as possible, and one major thing we have to consider is our packaging!

Did you know that the amount of plastic packaging thrown away every single year could circle the entire world FOUR times!!! Imagine seeing that much plastic each year ?🤢

We aren't perfect by any stretch of the imagination and are always looking for ways to improve and reduce our carbon footprint, but these are a few things we do:

🌏 Our cardboard boxes are fully recyclable, just remove any debris and pop them in your recycling bin
🌏 Our signature navy ribbon is made of 100% recycled material
🌏 Our jam pots and ribbon are completely reusable, imagine cute pots of salt on the dinner table or gifts wrapped with navy ribbon 🎀
🌏 Our teabags are fully biodegradable (!!) So they can be put in your normal rubbish but wont add plastic waste to the landfill
🌏 Our clotted cream pots and plastic bags that house our tea and cards are fully compostable, so pop them in your food waste bin and they will compost 😘

We absolutely love doing themed boxes and this year's Halloween box is going to be 💯👌👌

This year will be bigger better and even more delicious 😍 we have come so far in a year and can't wait to show you the goods!!!

We are realising our menu and opening bookings tomorrow evening at 7pm! Boxes are £30 including delivery to North/East London postcodes and you get 2 scones, 3 sweet treats, 3 savoury AND 2 extra lil things because it's halloween 🎃 Eeeeek!

💫DELIVRRING 26TH SEPTEMBER💫

We're back!!! After some really full on couple of months, were back to a bit of normality and can start delivering delicious boxes to your doors again 💞 With the last of the late summer berries and root veg making a come back, we're soo excited to get baking this menu 💙

As you can see this month we are going to be making a slightly smaller menu, with 2 sweet options and 2 savoury instead of 3 of each 🥯🍒

⛺September boxes will be £20 per person, still inclusive of delivery ⛺

We will only be doing this reduced option for one month so if you've always fancied a box from us but it's slightly out of budget or you don't think you could eat all that food then now is your chance! We have wanted to try this smaller option for a while so we hope you guys love it 🥰
