The G30 – Always in control, even "Off Campus"

For A-Camera Operator Jim van Dijk, the Mo-Sys G30 delivers a level of camera control other 3-axis stabilised heads can’t.

“Often, you're hanging, looking straight down on a crane. It used to be so frustrating using other heads because you would lose control of one of your axes! For me, the biggest feature of the G30 is that you retain control when you're pointing straight down, or nose mounted - you’re able to use all three axes, pan, tilt and roll.”

The L20 is the next natural step – Josh Close

After five seasons running the Mo-Sys L40 on ‘Slow Horses’, Key Grip Josh Close has now paired it with the L20 - now able to get to more exciting camera positions, mounting the ultra-compact and quiet L20 in spaces other remote heads would not fit.

“I’m using it in all those really hard-to-reach places. Hanging it off of balconies. On Jib arms - we had a lovely one shooting at Ghislain Castle where we did a beautiful spiral staircase.”

Josh is also using their interchangeability to reduce set up times.

“Being able to switch straight from a jib shot to another rig, I can have the wheels set up with this nice pop-up tent. Everyone’s comfy, and I can just switch over to the other head, without the downtime – bosh! Plug and play. It works with the wireless system and also has backpan. The backpan is fantastic on the L40, and now the L20 can do it as well.”
