The Department of Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) is asking the public to help shape the future of National Lottery good cause funding.

Since 1994, the National Lottery has generated over £53 billion for good causes across the UK, funding elite and grassroots sport, cultural institutions and local community projects.

This is a valuable opportunity to gather evidence on the impact of National Lottery funding for film and consider how this funding can go even further to support communities.

On Tuesday 28 July, join the Undocumented: Screen Heritage team as they launch Undocumented: A Framework for Community-Led Black Screen Heritage Practice

Undocumented is a project from London’s Screen Archives and The New Black Film Collective which seeks to address the lack of Black home movies within film archives. The project aims to create a space where we can discuss the importance of celebrating and preserving the Black experience in London and highlight the crucial role screen archives play in preserving stories from the past.

This session will be led by LSA Digital Transformation Manager and Projects Lead Storm Patterson and Undocumented Project Manager Tamera Heron.

SAVE THE DATE: London Games Festival returns Monday 12 - Monday 19 April 2027 with a new central venue.

Following a record year that welcomed visitors from 61 countries and generated a business pipeline estimated close to £30 million, London Games Festival is set to return in 2027.

From Thursday 15 April to Saturday 17 April, the festival will move to a central location, the Business Design Centre. Public showcase New Game Plus, flagship business-to-business event Games Finance Market and several industry conferences and networking activity will be hosted at the new venue.

The venue holds significance for the UK games industry, having hosted some of the country's earliest video game trade shows in the late 1980s. In 2027, LGF will return with a modern international showcase celebrating games, creativity and business.
