Welcome to Production Guild UK.

Today, we’re transitioning from the Production Guild of Great Britain, reflecting a new chapter with a refreshed look and a refreshed name - Production Guild UK.

Our new branding, designed by Grandad Digital, reflects the Guild's position as a circle of trust for our community of members.

As a UK-wide organisation, we proudly serve freelancers and productions from Glasgow to Manchester, Belfast to Bristol, Birmingham to Cardiff and every corner of the nation in between.

This change is the first of many to come this year, including a brand new website and app, and enhanced membership pathways, alongside improved networking, career development and mentoring, and a strengthening of the link between freelancers and the production community. Stay tuned!

We are open for applications for our next VFX Management Essentials course in collaboration with ScreenSkills, taking place on Saturday 18th & Sunday 19th April. Application deadline is Wednesday 1st April.

🎬 Member in Focus: Samantha Beddoe

As part of our new weekly series, we caught up with PGGB Member Samantha Beddoe, Executive Producer on the prison thriller 'Wasteman' – now in UK cinemas.

Samantha started her career as an Assistant Accountant back in 2008 and has since worked on high-profile productions such as 'Wrath of Man', 'Emma', 'Atlanta' and 'Avengers: Age of Ultron'.

In our interview, she shares what it was like to work on 'Wasteman', as well as the skills and resilience it takes to become a successful Executive Producer.

🎬 Member in Focus: Charlie Reed

As part of our new weekly series, we caught up with PGGB Member Charlie Reed, Unit Production Manager on Emerald Fennell's 'Wuthering Heights' – now in UK cinemas.

With credits ranging from 'In Bruges' to 'Beetlejuice Beetlejuice', Charlie spent 18 years as an Assistant Director before stepping into the Production Manager role in 2021. In our interview, he shares what it was like to work on 'Wuthering Heights', as well as the skills and resilience it takes to become a successful UPM.
