Bardot’s career became a classic melange of the time; she started modelling at an early age before getting into films, a world that she abandoned as she turned 40. Although not universally loved, she's always been immensely popular and her style has without fail annually produced a list of lookalikes, and continues to influence the style of actresses, models and fashion campaigns worldwide.
In 2017 Prof. Ginette Vincendeau joined us to talk about Bardot and the BB style and how they have become so powerful and why the iconic BB still matters in fashion today.

Le premier entretien de F&C à Paris a été un véritable plaisir. Judith de Luze nous a parlé de sa carrière, qui a comencé dans la mode et après s'est tourné vers le cinéma et de son travail créant les costumes pour le film d'Arnaud Desplechin, DEUX PIANOS, sa troisième collaboration avec le réalisateur, ses choix et le travail d'équipe pour créer les personages.

Our first Q&A in Paris has been a real treat. Judith de Luze talked to us about her career, which started in fashion and then turned ti cinema. She also gave us insights into her work creating the costumes for Arnaud Desplechin's DEUX PIANOS, their third collaboration, and the team work behind the creation of characters.
