You'll miss it when it's gone...
Hello friends. Today marks exactly one year since we launched the campaign to Save The PCC!
From the very beginning, we have believed that any truly great venue is built on the shoulders of the people who work within it and the community that stands behind it. Over the past year, you have proven that belief to be absolutely true.
More than 166,000 of you signed the petition, bought tickets, became members, shared our message, or simply kept coming through our doors. The passion, loyalty, and vocal support you have shown has been extraordinary - and we could not be more grateful. So, thank you. Every single act of support has mattered.
While this recognition is a huge honour, the work is not finished. Our goal remains securing a long-term lease that will allow us to invest confidently in the future of the PCC and continue bringing the very best of what we do to Leicester Place.
Many of you have asked for an update on the lease situation, so here is where things stand.
Progress has been, frankly, beyond slow, at times close to a full stop. However, at the end of October the courts provided a timeline of actions that must be completed before a County Court date can be set, should no agreement be reached with our new landlord.
At present, there has been no breakthrough. Their appointed experts are now engaged with ours, and we are waiting to see whether there is any reasonable shift in their stance.
We are hopeful that we will have greater clarity by the end of April of this year. For legal reasons, we are limited in what we can share publicly at this stage, but please be assured that we have engaged the very best legal and property experts to defend our position and protect the future of the PCC.
When there is anything meaningful to report, you will hear it from us first.
Thank you, once again, for standing with us this entire year and for continuing to believe in what the PCC represents.
With our very best,
Team PCC.
