Welcome to the Official Queen Mary Nepalese Society page! Join us to take part in fun events, meet new people, create memories and know more about Nepal.

QMUL Nepalese society was formed in December 2009. It is all about bringing all the Nepalese as well as non-Nepalese people together in order for us to be able to share our culture and pride and also celebrate our national festivals. Our aim is to make everyone feel like we are in our homeland whilst at university. We are very friendly people and we warmly welcome any non-Nepalese people who are i

nterested in being part of us and want to know what our culture is like. Throughout the year we will be organising small parties to celebrate our festive seasons, fun events to showcase our culture and also opportunities for fundraising to help the unfortunate ones back in our country.The events held in the past years include movie nights, our annual Hamro Nepal event and taking part in sport tournaments held by other universities. Those wishing to join the Queen Mary Nepalese Society may do so for a charge of £5 for the academic year*

We at QMUL NepSoc are deeply saddened and outraged by the tragic events unfolding in Nepal. Our hearts go out to the victims, their families, and all those bravely demanding change 🙏

Together with all university Nepali societies across the UK as SUNA UK, we stand in solidarity with the youth of Nepal who continue to demand dignity, justice, and freedom ✊
