Our film for June, showing Monday the 29th at 7:30pm, is HAMNET (12a, Director: Chloé Zhao)

Anchored by beautiful performances from Paul Mescal and an award-sweeping Jessie Buckley, HAMNET tells the story of William Shakespeare and his wife Agnes as their family is struck by tragedy, leading to the creation of Shakespeare's masterpiece, Hamlet.

'Hamnet is a heartbreaking examination of attempting to cope with grief brought on by unimaginable loss, featuring two brilliant lead performances from Jessie Buckley & Paul Mescal, and stunningly gorgeous visuals throughout.' Jeff Beck, The Blu Spot

Doors 6:45pm

A special Lost In Film presentation, showing on Saturday the 4th of July at 7:30pm (Doors 6:45pm):

GLASTONBURY THE MOVIE: 30th ANNIVERSARY CUT (12a)

Director: Robin Mahoney

"The year is 1993. The BBC cameras haven’t arrived yet. A hundred thousand people
are in a Somerset field, completely unobserved, completely themselves. Shot in
Panavision CinemaScope, Glastonbury The Movie captured the real festival, not the
headline acts, but the stone circle at sunrise, the rave tents, the wandering poets, The
Verve at their very first festival appearance. No voiceover. No presenter. Just
Glastonbury, as it was."

Featuring performance footage of:

- The Verve
- Spiritualized
- The Orb
- Lemonheads
- And many more

"Marvellously honest. Beautifully shot. The most impressive festival movie this reviewer has seen."
Time Out

Tickets will be available soon at lostinfilm.com
