Exciting things are beginning to happen!

Save The Royal will have lots of news to share with you soon, but for now we want to announce that you will have the chance to come and have a look inside.

In Boscombe last night, two awesome bands Inspiral Carpets and The Wonder Stuff who both put on a bloody good show.

Checked out the venue layout etc, and it's a lovely building yet it reinforced just how wonderful The Royal will be in terms of accessibility and sightlines.

Plymouth needs The Royal, can't wait to see whoever is first to perform on the stage since Morecambe and Wise!

A weekend of wonderful and unique places at the weekend, with Gordon's W**e Bar and Bradley's Spanish Bar proving that the quirky can not only survive but thrive, the Green Rooms Hotel a great example of building re-use with a small budget used wisely to create a delightful place to stay, and Alexandra Palace (Ally Pally) an incredible building bringing joy to thousands.
All have things we can learn from as we fight to Save The Royal!

An excellent day yesterday at Creative Conversations 26 organised by Plymouth Culture, great to meet some of the people doing awesome things in the city, and get the chance to talk about our campaign.

There is so much going on in and around Plymouth,with so many talented and passionate creatives. In a word, wow!

It's events like this which help remind us that the fight to Plymouth Royal Cinema is definitely worth the effort.
