i am LOVING my newborn bubble and maternity leave is bliss, but that doesn’t mean i’ve forgotten about the cinema!! i listen to you all, and i hear you all. i know one thing everyone always asks for is new chairs.

as you can imagine it’s not an easy thing to source the chairs, pay for the amount we would need, get delivery on, then fix all the chairs in.. HOWEVER i may have found some.

i need YOUR guys’ help. my plan is to kit out screen 3 first with the new chairs as that’d be the easiest to do. i’m going to be hosting special screenings and events specifically for raising money for the chairs. i know a few regulars have also asked to β€œsponsor a chair” previously where you’d have your name on the chair.. is this something people would still be interested in?!

i’ve had a lot of messages in regards to the county press’ headlines on us this morning. just to clarify, we are NOT closing and the business isn’t being sold, the bingo hall is not closing either.

it is just the roof of the building being auctioned, as this is where the phone masts are located. this does not affect the building, the cinema or the bingo hall so please do not panic!
