🌊🎥 TWO LOCAL FILMS, ONE COAST, ONE INCREDIBLE NIGHT.
This August, we’re doing something a little bit special…
We’re joining forces with Daniel Satchell LS Productions UK Ltd who is reviving his iconic outdoor cinema event, Rock Up, in Saltdean this summer, for a very special fundraising evening in support of Leave No Trace Brighton.
Join us as two locally made documentaries are projected directly onto the spectacular white chalk cliffs of the South Coast — under the stars, with the sea as our backdrop.
🎥 First up is our own documentary, LEAVE NO TRACE BRIGHTON, co-created by Dan Satchell and our founder, Coral Evans.
Featuring stunning cinematography, underwater footage, local voices and environmental experts, the film explores the challenges facing our coastline while celebrating the incredible community taking action to protect it.
🏄 Following a short interval, we’ll screen HOTPIPE HILLBILLIES from Friday Film Club Productions. A heartfelt and humorous documentary following a close-knit Shoreham surfing community who turned an unlikely industrial outfall into one of Britain’s most unique surf breaks.
This special event is a fundraiser for Leave No Trace Brighton, helping us continue to inspire and enable community action to protect Brighton & Hove’s coastal and marine environment. 💛

🌦️ WEATHER HOLD: SATURDAY 29 AUGUST
We’re running this a little like a surf comp, we’re aiming for the 22nd, but the weather gets the final say!
If conditions aren’t right, we’ll carry the event over to Saturday 29 August and all tickets will remain valid. If you can’t make the new date, you can request a refund or leave your ticket value as a donation.
If both dates are cancelled due to adverse weather, we’ll aim to reschedule for Spring 2027, with tickets transferable or refundable.
Bring a chair or blanket, wrap up for an evening by the sea and join us for something genuinely special.
