Portrait of a Lady on Fire is a quietly devastating story about love, memory, and the act of seeing.

On a remote island, a painter is commissioned to secretly paint a young woman who refuses to pose. What follows is not just observation, but connection—built in silence, glances, and shared time.

Directed by Céline Sciamma, the film redefines the gaze: here, women are not seen as objects, but as people who see each other. Every frame feels like a memory being formed in real time.

It’s restrained, intimate, and achingly beautiful—proof that some love stories don’t need to be loud to be unforgettable.

“A sharp, engaging thriller with a novel premise… Woodall’s grounded charisma anchors the film, while Hoffman delivers a wonderfully playful performance.” Roger Ebert

TUNER is the first narrative feature from Academy Award-winning director Daniel Roher.

Leo Woodall stars as a gifted piano tuner with an extraordinary sensitivity to sound — a skill that draws him into an unexpected and dangerous double life. Working across New York alongside his mentor Harry Horowitz (Academy Award winner Dustin Hoffman), he finds himself pulled between precision, survival, and opportunity in a world where his talent has more than one use.

Along the way, he meets Ruthie (Havana Rose Liu), a composition student who offers a glimpse of a different future — one increasingly at odds with the path he’s being drawn down. As his work edges further into criminal territory, that fragile connection, and any sense of control over his life, begins to unravel.

TUNER explores ambition, consequence, and the cost of hearing too much in a city that never stops making noise.

Screening here from Friday 12th of June.

“A strange, uniquely compelling film.” Little white Lies
A hen escapes the machinery of survival and wanders into the strange, fragile world of humans.

In HEN, György Pálfi transforms a simple journey into something haunting, surreal, and deeply human — a story about motherhood, violence, borders, survival, and the quiet instinct to protect life at all costs.

Tender, absurd, and unforgettable.
One of the boldest cinematic visions of the year.
