Join us for The Blues Brothers next Saturday at 8pm. Retro Rendezvous
Retro Rendezvous is coming! It's one of Ulverston's largest and oldest live music festivals. Come and enjoy the live music in The Sun beer garden on both days completely free of charge.
On Saturday evening, the Roxy Cinema is showing the classic Blues Brothers movie at 8pm. Enjoy the retro vibe of the Roxy, complete with a traditional interval when you can buy ice creams. Note also that the Roxy is licensed to sell alcohol.
On Saturday, we’ll have motorcycles and scooters on display in Market Street and New Market Street. On Sunday, we’ll be hosting the start and finish of the Velo Retro cycling festival on Market Street, and we’ll have classic cars exhibited in New Market Street.
We have some excellent traders joining us over the weekend. Many of the usual Westmorland & Furness traders will be in Market Street on Saturday. Ulverston Bike Project will be demonstrating and selling refurbished bikes in Market Street. There are some wonderful stalls in the indoor Market Hall as well.
We have the following traders coming specially for this event. Food traders will be in New Market Street. Non-food and cycle traders will be in our new "Festival Square", at Theatre Street car park.
Hot & cold food in New Market Street: Cartmel Food Shed, The Cumbrian Coffee Co, Kick Ass Cheese, The Cumbrian Boerewors Company, Silverwood Pizza, Just.Good.Food.
Non-food in Festival Square: Dragon's Foundry (Estuary), For The Love of Books, Tropic Skincare, Sarah's Gifts, Golden Age Cycles, Furness u3a, Cycling Legends.

Market Street and New Market Street will be closed to all traffic, except for traders, exhibitors, and emergency vehicles on both days, so please don't park your car there! Also, Theatre Street car park will be closed to all non-event traffic from 6pm on Friday until 11pm on Sunday, for provision of our non-food street market in "Festival Square", and for the installation of temporary cycle racks for around 500 Velo Retro cycling event participants.
