22 years ago today the 'The Best Man' was released in the cinemas and thousands got to watch as Harper learned the lesson of a lifetime. The Best Man is and was the film we needed after Eddie Murphy's Boomerang. Beautiful black people living their everyday lives sharing their success, failures, their insecurities, 'entanglements' and personal revelations.

Although it was never released in UK cinemas, its influence can be seen on the dancefloor at every African/Caribbean wedding you've been to ever since.

We can't wait to bring this to you on the big screen!

Here are a few of our favourite scenes from the movie. Let us know yours in the comments!

Naomi Harris and Lashana Lynch make history as the first two black actresses to star together in leading roles in the latest 007 James Bond Movie 'No Time To Die'.

Harris reprises her role as Eve Moneypenny for her third James Bond film she had this to say about the latest installment: "I think it absolutely brilliant the women in this movie play such a central role. They're so important to driving the story forward, they're Badass and fully involved in the action. They're not damsels in distress. They're formidable, strong powerful confident, and capable women. I love that image being projected".

Initially, when the Bond opportunity came about, Lynch had reservations about joining another franchise – about getting lost "behind the man". She set out to portray the truth of being a Black woman. She will make History as the first Black Female Secret Agent Nomi.

Lynch Says "I didn’t want to waste an opportunity when it came to what Nomi might represent. I searched for at least one moment in the script where Black audience members would nod their heads, tutting at the reality but glad to see their real life represented. In every project I am part of, no matter the budget or genre, the Black experience the at I’m presenting needs to be 100 percent authentic."

No time to Die is in theatres now.

Soul Food is the kind of movie that’s got a quality of warmth and charm that fits perfectly with its authentic drama about a large African-American family in Chicago. Our favourite quote is…
