Make sure that in 2013 you’re at the biggest event on the calendar, Custom Carnage UK, Combining a custom show, exhibition of art inspired by tattoo culture, and a Battle of the Sexes tattoo convention. Custom Carnage gives vendors the opportunity to reach their widest audience yet in one single event and plenty to look at while they are there! The location of Stoneleigh Park puts us in a position
to accommodate stalls of all sizes, so whatever you’re selling, from jewellery and clothing to wheels and accessories, we have the right space for you. We want to see an eclectic mix of wares for sale, all to do with customisation, so get in touch and book fast to avoid disappointment! A guaranteed conversation starter is “who’s better? The girls or the boys?” Well, now it’s time to put the money on the table with the Battle of The Sexes Tattoo Expo, a fun competition for some serious cash! For the 11 tattoo categories there is a £100 cash prize and trophy each. Whichever sex (male or female) tattooed the majority of the winning line-up will be awarded the coveted Kev Shercliff trophy, to be returned annually. So who’s best? Boys or Girls? Now to the big bucks – a whopping £1000 will be awarded to the best female and male tattoo artists at the convention, for consistency, technical ability and artistic creativity. The Forever Exhibition will be bringing to the convention an awe inspiring collection of high quality work from passionate artists, organised by passionate people. Forever debuted in Birmingham in 2011, and exceeded all expectation in its success and the excitement it stirred, drawing a crowd of all ages and walks of life to view and buy pieces by tattooists and artists. Every piece of art on display was simply phenomenal, and there is already a palpable buzz of excitement surrounding the next Forever Art Event. So understandably we are thrilled and honoured that this will be taking place at Custom Carnage! If you want your works of art to be a part of the collection, contact Jo Farn at [email protected]
The crazy prize money continues with over £8000 being given away over the weekend in the Custom competitions. Unlike many competitions this customs show is open to a variety of vehicles with a category for best car, hot rod, truck/commercial, bike, streetfighter, scooter, trike and streetcar, with £1000 prize money to the winners of each category. We’re looking for contenders to wow the visitors at the show, so get in touch if you want to exhibit. Over the weekend the judges will be scouring the car parks for custom vehicles that weren’t lucky enough to get into the show, and giving a prize of £250 to best custom on the day.
