Thanet Ju-Jitsu Academy We are a friendly school open to all over 15 yrs based upstairs in the Westgate United Services Club behind the Cinema.

Our class is on a Tuesday and Thursday nights between 7.30pm and 9.30pm. First lesson is Free, so why not give it a go? Jiu-Jitsu is one of the oldest forms of martial art which was created by the Samurai Warriors to protect them in battle against armed opponents. This art has continued to this day with very little changes. I like to ensure that we maintain a warm and friendly environment. This is

undoubtedly still the best form of self defence to this day, enjoyed by all ages even at retirement age and above. Unlike most arts it is not about strength at all it is purely about technique. There is no competitive component to Jui-jitsu which gives a much more relaxed and enjoyable environment.

As our last session of 2022 has drawn to a close, I’d just like to take a moment to Thank each and every student, past and present for their devoted dedication and commitment! It has been a pleasure to teach you!

I wish a very Merry Christmas 🎄🎅 and a Happy New Year to you all and your families!
