The date for viewing the building has moved to 21 April. Not sure why, but as long as the viewing is happening I don't mind.

Recently, CCC posted on their Facebook calling everyone regarding the Crab and Winkle Restaurant - Net Store. I have personally contacted them with the proposal of the Community Cinema for Whitstable. I would like to keep everyone up to date. I know, I have been very quiet about this project but I am fighting even stronger to ensure the cinema is available for Whitstable.

I have attached the initial idea of how the cinema could look like. Mostly the floor plan. Feel free to share any ideas or comment.

Hello, I know I wasn’t posting anything in here. Let me give you a small update now:

1. Canterbury City Council was approached regarding one property in Whitstable to get more details and information. The property is the Crab and Winkle Restaurant what burned some time ago. The reason behind it is that they were thinking already in putting there a cinema so I am hoping it should be helpful for me. If I will be able to secure a lease for 5+ years, I will be able to apply for a grants to renovate the building for cinema purposes.

2. Applying for the license from CCC will be done hopefully soon.

3. Creating Promotional Book, something similar to the business plan. This will be shared with council and all organisations for grants.
