Looking for a creative way to see the world differently this summer?

Join artist Tracy Harris for an inspiring photography workshop where young people aged 11–18 will explore their local environment through the lens of a camera phone. Using photography as a tool for storytelling, participants will discover how images can capture ideas, spark conversations and highlight the world around them.

Throughout the session, young people will learn practical photography techniques, develop their visual storytelling skills and gain a fresh perspective on environmental issues in their community. No previous photography experience is needed – just a camera phone, curiosity and creativity.

By the end of the workshop, participants will have created a collection of powerful and meaningful photographs that reflect their own unique view of the world.

Time: 1pm–5pm
Age: 11–18 years
Cost: Free thanks to funding from PAVO
Booking essential – spaces are limited
Materials: Camera phone required

Participants will head out into the local area to take photographs with artist Tracy Harris and qualified, DBS-checked youth worker Sheree Murphy.

Food will be provided, so please let us know about any allergies when booking. Transport can also be arranged if needed – simply mention this when reserving your place.
