Karditsa International Short Film Festival Opseis KISFFO is an independent short film festival that accepts film submissions with open theme from all countries, Greece included.

Our vision for KISFFO is to be hosting important filmmakers’ work and to offer them the opportunity to interact and communicate with the audience. This annual festival has a contestive character and includes a short film contest, live film screenings, an award ceremony, side events, panel discussions, presentations, workshops, and tributes to honored artists.

4o Karditsa International Short Film Festival Opseis
A grand celebration of short films from all around the world will return for the fourth time to the heart of Greece, in beautiful city of Karditsa.
The 4th KISFFO (Karditsa International Short Film Festival Opseis -
will take place from August 27 to 30, 2026, in the courtyard of Theater Opseis.
KISFFO is an independent short film festival that accepts film submissions on any theme from all countries, including Greece.
The goal of our Creative Team for this festival is to bring together talented filmmakers and art lovers from all over the world in the city of Karditsa, which will serve as a source of inspiration for creators who wish to share their vision by fostering dialogue between different cultures through the art of cinema.
The 4th KISFFO features live screenings of award-winning short films, tributes to honored artists, panel discussions, educational seminars and workshops, parallel events, and of course an awards ceremony. Admission to the festival is free.
Film submissions are accepted exclusively through the FilmFreeway website.

Η μεγάλη γιορτή ταινιών μικρού μήκους από όλο τον κόσμο, χτυπά για 4η φορά δυνατά στην καρδιά της Ελλάδας, στην όμορφη Καρδίτσα.
Το 4ο KISFFO (Διεθνές Φεστιβάλ Ταινιών Μικρού Μήκους Καρδίτσας Όψεις - www.kisffo.gr) θα πραγματοποιηθεί από τις 27 έως τις 30 Αυγούστου 2026 στην Αυλή του Θεάτρου Όψεις.
Το KISFFO είναι ένα ανεξάρτητο φεστιβάλ ταινιών μικρού μήκους που δέχεται υποβολές ταινιών με ανοιχτό θέμα από όλες τις χώρες, συμπεριλαμβανομένης της Ελλάδας.
Στόχος της Δημιουργικής Ομάδας μας είναι φεστιβάλ αυτό να φέρει κοντά ταλαντούχους κινηματογραφιστές και λάτρεις της τέχνης από όλον τον κόσμο στην πόλη της Καρδίτσας, η οποία θα αποτελέσει πηγή έμπνευσης για δημιουργούς που θέλουν να μοιραστούν το όραμά τους προωθώντας το διάλογο μεταξύ διαφορετικών πολιτισμών μέσα από την τέχνη του Κινηματογράφου.
Το 4ο ΚISFFO περιλαμβάνει ζωντανές προβολές βραβευμένων ταινιών μικρού μήκους, αφιερώματα σε τιμώμενους καλλιτέχνες, συζητήσεις σε πάνελ, επιμορφωτικά σεμινάρια και εργαστήρια, παράλληλες εκδηλώσεις και φυσικά απονομή βραβείων.
