We need your voice!

CPD Mapping Survey Closing Next Week!

Practising professionals from the Early Learning and Care (ELC), School‑Age Childcare (SAC) and Childminding sectors are reminded to complete the national CPD mapping survey commissioned by the Department of Children, Disability and Equality (DCDE).

The survey explores current CPD opportunities, access and engagement across the sector and will help shape future CPD planning.

The first five years of your child’s life are crucial for their long-term positive mental health. To support you create a nurturing environment, the National Parents Council (NPC), in partnership with St. Patrick's Mental Health Services, is offering a series of free online webinars for parents.

The session will last approximately 75 minutes and includes an interactive Q&A with our experienced facilitators. Final session today at 10am (Friday 5th).

Mayo County Childcare Committee is running the Childminding Pre-Registration Training course on Saturday, 27th of June from 9.30am to 4.30pm.

Please see attached poster for more details and booking information.

The aim of the training programme is to help you:

• Understand the new childminding regulations.

• Apply the regulations to your childminding practice.

• Understand the Tusla registration process for childminders.

• Understand the documentation required to register with Tusla.

• Access supports and resources.

It will also provide an opportunity to meet with other childminders both new and existing which will offer you great peer to peer support.

Once you have completed the training you will be issued with a certificate of attendance and there is absolutely no obligation on anyone who completes the training to register with Tusla.
