Eternal Happiness vs. Temporary happiness
You see, when your happiness is based on the pleasures of material rewards, it is fleeting, temporary, never lasts as the material world and physicality must come and go, it must come to an end because it is not really real, it is not truly the truth. So, the happiness that is codependent on this substance is also not really real and not truly the truth.
The happiness is easily made squeamish
Hence, the end of this attached pleasure must come the pain as both are a polarity of the same coin.
But if your happiness is based on the simplicity of how your consciousness moves and how it meets itself, it is independent, truly fulfilling, and lasts forever. Because it is really real and truly the truth, for the real truth has to be eternal to qualify as truth. In this, there is no pain at the end of an unattached pleasure, only peace that brings about more bliss as it is not dependent on any pleasure.

First P- Pleasure
Second P- Pain
Third P- Peace
When there's an attachment to Pleasure, it must end in Pain because pleasure is temporary and ends. Both the pain and the attached pleasure are one of the same coin.
When there is unattached pleasure, the peace remains as the pleasure goes, and from this peace arise bliss that shines the light on eternal happiness
If you find your true happiness, that means you have found your soul, that was never lost anyways! In the first place. It has always been there and will always be there as it is eternal, it has just been covered with an illusion we call the veil. So true awakening is waking up from this dreamy cover and veil, waking up into the true happiness called your soul. It is true happiness, true love, and true peace.
