The “Shaan-e-awadh International Film Festival” is an initiative by newly established organization "Awadh Art Society" and promoted by "Splash Etcetra", a group of young and energetic film enthusiasts, who actively involved and working on awareness of Film-making and offering educational program in Film-making such as Seminars, Workshops etc; Conducting film festivals to show good films to new gen

eration of film makers, we want to do something who encourage the youth to join the film industry and make some good and sense full cinema for society, because we heard somewhere; cinema can change a hair style but can’t able to change the society, and due to this statement we believe that cinema has a power who can change the society too. with this initiative we (awadh art society) want to develop enthusiasm of film making in the new generations of Awadh, and also to encourage their interest of film-making with this short film international festival.

“Shaan-e-awadh International Film Festival’ is officially noted in the Directory of International Films and Video Festival of British Council, London.
