മലപ്പുറം > തുടക്കംമുതല്‍ സിനിമ കാണാന്‍ അവസരം നിഷേധിച്ചതിന് തിയറ്ററുടമ പരാതിക്കാര്‍ക്ക് 50,000 രൂപ നഷ്ടപരിഹാരം നല്‍കണമെന്ന് ജില്ലാ ഉപഭോക്തൃ കമീഷന്‍ വിധി. പെരിന്തൽമണ്ണ പ്ലാസ തിയറ്ററിനെതിരെ ഏലംകുളം സ്വദേശികളായ ശരത്ത്, ആനന്ദ്, സുജീഷ്, വിജേഷ്, നിഖിൽ എന്നിവർ നൽകിയ ഹര്‍ജിയിലാണ് ഉത്തരവ്. കോടതി ചെലവിലേക്കായി 10,000 രൂപയും നൽകണം.

2023 എപ്രിൽ 30ന് രാത്രി ഏഴിനുള്ള ‘പൊന്നിയൻ സെൽവൻ 2' കാണാനായി വൈകിട്ട് 6.45നാണ് പരാതിക്കാർ തിയറ്ററിലെത്തിയത്. തിയറ്റർ വൃത്തിയാക്കുകയാണെന്ന് അറിയിച്ച് 10 മിനിറ്റ് കഴിഞ്ഞാണ് ഇവരെ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചത്. എന്നാൽ ഏഴിനുതന്നെ പ്രദർശനം തുടങ്ങി. പ്രതിഷേധം അറിയിച്ചവരോട്‌ തിയറ്റർ അധികൃതർ മോശമായി പെരുമാറിയെന്നും പരാതിയില്‍ പറയുന്നു. രണ്ട് മിനിറ്റ് മാത്രമാണ് വൃത്തിയാക്കാനെടുത്തതെന്നും മഴ കാരണം പരാതിക്കാർ ഉൾപ്പെടെ ഓൺലൈനില്‍ ബുക്ക്ചെയ്തവര്‍ വൈകിയാണ്‌ എത്തിയതെന്നുമായിരുന്നു തിയറ്റര്‍ അധികൃതരുടെ വാദം.

സേവനത്തിലെ വീഴ്ചയാണ് തിയറ്റര്‍ അധികൃതരുടെ ഭാഗത്തുനിന്ന് ഉണ്ടായതെന്ന് കമീഷന്‍ വിധിച്ചു. ഒരു മാസത്തിനകം നഷ്ടപരിഹാരം നൽകിയില്ലെങ്കില്‍ ഒമ്പത് ശതമാനം പലിശയും നൽകണം. കെ മോഹൻദാസ് പ്രസിഡന്റും പ്രീതി ശിവരാമൻ, സി വി മുഹമ്മദ് ഇസ്മയിൽ എന്നിവർ അംഗങ്ങളുമായ കമീഷനാണ് ഉത്തരവിട്ടത്
