Students Federation of India is one of the largest Students Organisation in India which struggles for students right five decades of Study and Struggle with a slogan of Independence, Democracy, Socialism. Students Federation of India (SFI) as a student’s organisation has its own importance in society especially in academia.The organisation plays an important role in making a student socially, poli

tically desirable human being and beyond all a democratic citizen. For the last fifty years, SFI has been lead fights and struggles for students, against varied kinds of issues as a community the students have been facing all over India. We the SFI are in struggle against any kind of inequalities, exploitation's, inaccessibility and corporate business tendencies in education. We want to get access and open the all possibilities of education in its all levels for the poor and back ward sections of the population and all irrespective of the class, caste, creed, religion etc. Our ever arising slogan is “independence, democracy and socialism zindhabad…”. We SFI wish for and we struggle for to get practice independence, democracy and socialism in its all sense in the entire social, academic and political life of the student. Now in our campus we have to face fundamental religious organisations proposing their dividing agendas and try to destroy or eradicate the secular and democratic atmosphere. To resist the corporate, privatization tendencies and religious fundamentalist attack we the progressive student’s activists have to take it as our moral and political obligation and responsibility. Well being and security of society is our aim. So hand in hand and be a part of the revolutionary and progressive students movement.

The SFI Puducherry State Committee organized a protest condemning the repeated failures and misconduct of the National Testing Agency (NTA), extending unwavering solidarity with the ongoing hunger strike, and strongly denouncing the violent crackdown on peaceful protesters in Delhi. The continued failures of the NTA have shattered the aspirations of countless students, making accountability unavoidable. We demand justice for students, the immediate sacking of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan for his failure to uphold the integrity of the education system, the complete scrapping of the NTA, and a ban on NEET, which has deepened inequalities and denied equal access to education. Education is a fundamental right, not a commodity, and students deserve a transparent, democratic, and equitable admission system free from injustice and discrimination.

கல்வி உரிமைக்காக போராடிய இந்திய மாணவர் சங்க பீகார் மாநில குழு தலைவர் காந்தி குமாரி உள்ளிட்ட 40 தோழர்களை கண்மூடித்தனமாக தாக்கி கைது செய்து சிறையில் அடைத்துள்ள பீகார் அரசுக்கு கண்டனம்! தோழர் காந்தி குமாரி உள்ளிட்ட அனைவரையும் உடனடியாக விடுதலை செய்க - இந்திய மாணவர் சங்கம் புதுச்சேரி மாநில குழு!

நீண்டகாலமாகவும் தொடர்ச்சியாகவும் இந்திய மாணவர் சங்கம் முன்னெடுத்த போராட்டங்களின் விளைவாக, நாலந்தாவில் ஒரு பட்டப்படிப்பு கல்லூரி அமைப்பதற்கு ஒப்புதல் அளிக்கப்பட்டது. அந்தக் கல்லூரி மாவட்டத் தலைமையகப் பகுதியில் அமைக்கப்பட வேண்டும் என்றும், அப்போதுதான் மாணவர்கள் எளிதில் அனைத்து வசதிகளையும் அணுக முடியும் என்றும் இந்திய மாணவர் சங்கம் நாலந்தா மாவட்டக் குழு வலியுறுத்தியது. ஆனால், உள்ளூர் சட்டமன்ற உறுப்பினரின் அழுத்தத்தின் காரணமாக, கல்லூரியை தலைமையகப் பகுதியிலிருந்து லோடிபூர் பகுதிக்கு மாற்றும் திட்டம் முன்னெடுக்கப்பட்டது.

இதற்கு எதிராக இந்திய மாணவர் சங்கம் பீகார் மாநிலக் குழு உடனடியாக தீவிரமான போராட்டங்களையும் ஆர்ப்பாட்டங்களையும் முன்னெடுத்தது. ஜூன் 18 அன்று, பொதுமக்களின் ஆதரவுடன் இந்திய மாணவர் சங்கம் சாலை மறியல் போராட்டத்தில் ஈடுபட்டது. இந்தப் போராட்டத்தில் பங்கேற்ற இந்திய மாணவர் சங்கம் (SFI) பீகார் மாநிலத் தலைவர் தோழர் காந்தி குமாரி, நாலந்தா மாவட்டச் செயலாளர் தோழர் சாவித்ரி குமாரி உள்ளிட்ட 40-க்கும் மேற்பட்ட மாணவர் சங்க தோழர்கள் மீது பீகார் காவல்துறை நடத்திய தாக்குதல் மற்றும் கைது நடவடிக்கையை இந்திய மாணவர் சங்கம் புதுச்சேரி மாநில குழு வன்மையாகக் கண்டிக்கிறது.

அமைதியான ஜனநாயகப் போராட்டத்தை ஒடுக்குவதற்காக மாணவர்களை தாக்கி கைது செய்வது அரசியல் அமைப்புச்சட்டத்திற்கு எதிரானது. கல்விக்கான உரிமையையும், ஜனநாயக உரிமைகளையும் பாதுகாக்கும் மாணவர் இயக்கங்களை அடக்க முயலும் பீகார் அரசின் போக்கு எந்த வகையிலும் ஏற்புடையதல்ல மிகவும் கண்டனத்திற்குரியது.

கைது செய்யப்பட்ட தோழர் காந்தி குமாரி உள்ளிட்ட அனைவரையும் உடனடியாக விடுதலை செய்ய வேண்டும், மாணவர்கள் மற்றும் ஜனநாயக சக்திகள் இந்த அடக்குமுறைக்கு எதிராக ஒன்றிணைந்து குரல் கொடுக்க வேண்டும் என இந்திய மாணவர் சங்கம் புதுச்சேரி மாநில குழு வலியுறுத்துகிறது.

*நீட் தேர்வு வினாத்தாள் கசிவில் முழுமையான விசாரணை நடத்தி, குற்றவாளிகளுக்கு கடுமையான சட்ட நடவடிக்கை எடுக்க வேண்டும் — இந்திய மாணவர் சங்கம்*

நாட்டின் மிகப்பெரிய மருத்துவப் படிப்பு நுழைவுத் தேர்வான நீட் தேர்வின் வினாத்தாள் கசிந்திருப்பது மிகவும் கடுமையான தவறும், அதேசமயம் மிகுந்த அதிர்ச்சி மற்றும் கவலைக்குரிய ஒன்றுமாகும். இலட்சக்கணக்கான மாணவர்கள் எதிர்கால நம்பிக்கையுடன் எழுதும் இந்த நுழைவுத் தேர்வில் ஏற்பட்டுள்ள வினாத்தாள் கசிவு, தேர்வை நடத்தும் மத்திய அரசு நிறுவனமான NTA மற்றும் மத்திய கல்வித்துறையின் முழுமையான நிர்வாக தோல்வியை வெளிப்படுத்துகிறது.

தேர்வுக்கு முன்பாக கோச்சிங் சென்டர்களின் குழுக்களில் பரவியிருந்த கணிப்பு வினாத்தாளும், உண்மையான வினாத்தாளும் பெரும்பாலான கேள்விகளில் ஒரே மாதிரியாக இருந்தது மிகப்பெரிய சந்தேகத்தை ஏற்படுத்துகிறது. கல்வியை வணிகமாக மாற்றியுள்ள ஒன்றிய பாஜக அரசின் கொள்கைகளும், கோச்சிங் சென்டர் மாஃபியாக்களுடன் இணைந்துள்ள கல்வி வணிக அரசியலும் இந்த முறைகேட்டின் பின்னணியில் இருப்பது தெளிவாகிறது.

ஆரம்பத்திலிருந்தே நீட் தேர்வுக்கு எதிராக மாணவர்கள், பெற்றோர்கள் மற்றும் கல்வியாளர்கள் தொடர்ந்து போராடி வருகின்றனர். குறிப்பாக இந்திய மாணவர் சங்கம் நாடு முழுவதும் பல்வேறு போராட்டங்கள், ஆர்ப்பாட்டங்கள், கருத்தரங்குகள் நடத்தி, நீட் தேர்வு சமூக நீதி மற்றும் மாநில உரிமைகளுக்கு எதிரானது என்பதை தொடர்ந்து வலியுறுத்தி வந்துள்ளது. கிராமப்புற மற்றும் அரசுப் பள்ளி மாணவர்களின் மருத்துவக் கல்வி கனவுகளை சிதைக்கும் நீட் தேர்வு முறையை முழுமையாக ரத்து செய்ய வேண்டும் என்ற கோரிக்கையை இந்திய மாணவர் சங்கம் தொடர்ந்து முன்வைத்து வருகிறது.

தேசிய தேர்வு முகமை நடத்தும் தேர்வுகளின் வெளிப்படைத்தன்மை இதுபோன்ற சம்பவங்களால் முற்றிலும் கேள்விக்குறியாகியுள்ளது. சாதாரண மற்றும் உழைக்கும் வர்க்க மாணவர்களின் கல்வி உரிமையை, கல்வி வணிகத்தின் மூலம் ஒன்றிய அரசு பறித்து வருகிறது.

கல்வியின் அனைத்து துறைகளிலும் பண ஆதிக்கத்தை நிலைநிறுத்த முயலும் ஒன்றிய பாஜக அரசின் நடவடிக்கைகளுக்கு எதிராக மிகப்பெரிய ஜனநாயக போராட்டங்களை முன்னெடுப்போம். மாணவர்களின் எதிர்காலத்தை சீரழிக்கும் நீட் தேர்வு முறைக்கும், தேர்வு முறைகேடுகளுக்கும் எதிராக மாணவர்களை அணிதிரட்டுவோம்.

இந்த நீட் வினாத்தாள் கசிவு விவகாரத்தில் உச்சநீதிமன்ற கண்காணிப்பில் முழுமையான விசாரணை நடத்த வேண்டும். சம்பந்தப்பட்ட அனைத்து குற்றவாளிகளையும் சட்டத்தின் முன் நிறுத்தி கடுமையான தண்டனை வழங்க வேண்டும். மேலும், நீட் தேர்வை ரத்து செய்து, மாநிலங்களின் கல்வி உரிமையை பாதுகாக்கும் வகையில் மாநில அடிப்படையிலான மாணவர் சேர்க்கை முறையை அமல்படுத்த வேண்டும் என்று இந்திய மாணவர் சங்கம் வலியுறுத்துகிறது.

மும்மொழி கொள்கை என்ற பெயரில் இந்தியை கட்டாயமாக்குவதை திரும்ப பெறு, அரசு பள்ளிகளில் சிபிஎஸ்இ பாடத்திட்டம் திணிக்கப்பட்டதை ரத்து செய்து, தாய் மொழி வழிக் கல்வியை வழங்கிடு, புதுச்சேரி சமூக பொருளாதாரத்தோடு பிண்ணி பிணைந்த பிரெஞ்சு வழி கல்வியை நீக்கும் முயற்சியை கைவிடு, புதுச்சேரி மாநிலத்திற்கு என்று தனி கல்வி வாரியத்தை உருவாக்கு, சிபிஎஸ்இ பத்தாம் வகுப்பு தேர்ச்சி விகிதம் குறித்த தகவல்களை வெளிப்படைத்தன்மையோடு கல்வித்துறையின் இணையத்தில் வெளியிட வேண்டும், பணிநியமன விதிகளை மீறி பல ஆண்டுகளாக ஒரே பதவியில் இருந்து கொண்டு அரசின் தவறான கொள்கைகளுக்கு துணை போகும்
கல்வி துறையின் இணை இயக்குநரை உடனடியாக இடமாற்றம் செய்து புதிய நபர்களுக்கு வாய்ப்பு வழங்கிடு என்ற கோரிக்கைகளை முன்வைத்து இந்திய மாணவர் சங்கம் சார்பில் மதகடிப்பட்டு பகுதியில் இடைக்கமிட்டி தலைவர் தருண் தலைமையில் போராட்டம் நடைபெற்றது. போராட்டத்தில் மாநில தலைவர் ஸ்டிபன் ராஜ் கண்டன உரையாற்றினார். மேலும் மாநில குழு உறுப்பினர்கள் உட்பட ஏராளமான மாணவர்கள் போராட்டத்தில் பங்கேற்றனர்

SFI Puducherry Stands in Solidarity with PTU Students Against Curfews, Closed Facilities, and Denial of Basic Rights; Will Intervene to Restore 24/7 Access and Campus Democracy.

The Students’ Federation of India (SFI), Puducherry State Committee, unequivocally stands in solidarity with the students of Puducherry Technological University (PTU) who are raising serious and legitimate concerns regarding the authoritarian restrictions and systematic denial of basic student rights on campus.

The conditions described by students clearly expose a regime of administrative control that treats students not as members of an academic community, but as subjects to be regulated and confined. The imposition of arbitrary curfews, denial of 24/7 campus access, and restriction of movement under the pretext of “security” is nothing but a regressive rollback of student freedoms that previously existed.

Further, the continued closure of essential facilities including the non-functional night canteens despite public expenditure, lack of access to food after hostel hours, removal of sports infrastructure like floodlights, and the locking of the table tennis complex reflects not administrative inefficiency, but a structural disregard for student welfare.

This is not an isolated issue of campus management. It is part of a broader pattern where institutions increasingly impose surveillance, restriction, and depoliticisation on students, undermining the very idea of a university as a democratic space.

SFI asserts that Students are adults with autonomy, not subjects of paternalistic control. Access to campus spaces, food, sports, and academic resources is a right, not a privilege. Publicly funded infrastructure cannot be locked away while students are denied basic facilities.

SFI Puducherry State Committee declares that it will actively intervene in this issue.

We demand immediate action:

Restoration of 24/7 campus access with ID-based entry

Immediate opening of night canteen facilities

Installation of floodlights and reopening of all sports infrastructure

Removal of arbitrary and anti-student restrictions

If the administration continues to ignore these demands, SFI will intensify its intervention through organised struggle. The fight for campus democracy and student rights will not be silenced.

காரைக்காலில் இயங்கும் தேசிய தொழில்நுட்ப பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் மாணவர்களின் பட்டப்படிப்பு சான்றிதழில் ஹிந்தியை திணிக்கும் நிர்வாகம் - இந்திய மாணவர் சங்கம் கண்டனம்!

புதுச்சேரி மாநிலம் காரைக்கால் மாவட்டத்தில் 2010 ஆம் ஆண்டு துவங்கப்பட்ட தேசிய தொழில்நுட்ப பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் சுமார் 1500க்கும் மேற்பட்ட மாணவர்கள் இந்தியா முழுவதும் பல்வேறு மாநிலங்களில் இருந்து வந்து பயின்று வருகின்றனர். ஒன்றிய அரசின் கீழ் இயங்கும் தேசிய தொழில்நுட்ப பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் பிப்ரவரி மாதம் 19 ஆம் தேதி 12வது பட்டமளிப்பு விழா நடைபெற உள்ளது இவ்விழாவில் ஒன்றிய அரசின் கல்வி அமைச்சர் தர்மேந்திர பிரதான் உட்பட பலர் கலந்து கொள்ள உள்ளனர். இந்நிலையில் பட்டமளிப்பு விழாவில் பட்டம் பெற உள்ள மாணவர்கள் மத்தியில் நிர்வாகம் ஒரு ஆன்லைன் விண்ணப்பத்தை(Google Form) பகிர்ந்து அதில் சான்றிதழில் மாணவர்களின் பெயர் ஹிந்தியில் மட்டுமே இடம்பெறும், ஆகவே பெயரை ஹிந்தியில் கொடுக்க வேண்டும் என நிர்வாகம் நிர்பந்தித்து வருவதாக தெரியவந்துள்ளது. நாடு முழுவதும் ஒன்றிய அரசின் கல்வி நிறுவனங்களில் மாணவர்களுக்கு சான்றிதழ்கள் ஆங்கிலத்திலேயே வழங்கப்பட்டு வருவது வழக்கமாக உள்ளது. ஆனால் காரைக்காலில் உள்ள தேசிய தொழில்நுட்ப பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் மட்டும் நிர்வாகம் மாணவர்களின் பெயரை ஹிந்தியில் கொடுக்க வேண்டும், சான்றிதழ் இந்தியில் தான் வழங்கப்படும் என்று மாணவர்களை நிர்பந்திப்பது மிகவும் கண்டனத்திற்குரியது. நாடு முழுவதும் பல்வேறு மாநிலங்களில் இருந்து பல்வேறு மொழி பேசக்கூடிய மாணவர்கள் படிக்கக்கூடிய ஒரு கல்வி நிறுவனத்தில் ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட மொழியில் மட்டுமே சான்றிதழ் வழங்கப்படும் என்று நிர்வாகம் கூறுவது எந்த வகையிலும் ஏற்புடையதல்ல, மேலும் ஒன்றிய அரசு தொடர்ச்சியாக ஹிந்தி மொழி பேசாதே மாநிலங்கள் மீதும் மொழி மீதும் தாக்குதலை நடத்துவது எந்த வகையிலும் ஏற்புடையதல்ல. எனவே நிர்வாகம் ஹிந்தி மொழியை திணிப்பதை கைவிட்டு இதற்கு முன்னர் நடைமுறையில் உள்ளது போலவே மாணவர்களுக்கு சான்றிதழ்களை ஆங்கிலத்திலேயே வழங்க வேண்டும் என இந்திய மாணவர் சங்கம் புதுச்சேரி மாநில குழு வலியுறுத்துகிறது.
