When legends shared one stage, time felt like it quietly paused…
At the 10th PIFF, we were fortunate to witness history in its most magical form, a moment filled with warmth, music, and memories that will stay with us forever.

What made it even more special was the heartfelt admiration they shared....watching legends like Ilaiyaraajaji appreciate Asha Bhosleji, and her graceful acknowledgement in return… a rare and beautiful exchange.

Ashaji & Ilaiyaraajaji..... a legacy softly coming alive.

Pune holds a million memories… and every story finds its place here.

In a city where culture meets cinema, every moment becomes timeless.

And when the Shehenshah of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan, shared his bond with Pune on the PIFF stage… it felt like home celebrating itself.

Shammi Kapoor.. a force of nature who transformed acting into pure, uninhibited expression. He brought a rare spontaneity to the screen blending mischief, romance, and intensity with effortless ease. Whether it was his playful charm or emotionally charged moments, every performance felt alive and deeply personal.

His unique style broke away from convention , expressive eyes, boundless energy, and that signature flair that made even silence speak volumes. And when he danced, it wasn’t choreography… it was emotion in motion.

A true original who didn’t just perform roles, he lived them, making every character unforgettable.

The Pune International Film Festival was truly blessed to have his presence. Here he is, on stage, sharing one of his heartfelt reasons for his special connection with Pune... a moment as warm and memorable as the legend himself.
